RED AND YELLOW AND PINK AND GREEN

Hi everyone, hope you've had a good week! Before we launch into desk stuff I had a very brief conversation with Neet last week, she's likely to be in hospital for a while yet, is keeping reasonably ok but couldn't say when she might be home. I think a card or email might be a nice thing to keep her spirits up xx

Here it's been all go on the knitting and sewing front as my first fair will be on 7th Feb with two after that so I've got to get organised!

I've knitted some samples of creme egg covers and two more little bunnies. I don't like the daffodil very much, it looks like a triffid! But the others are fun and will be knitted by a couple of the RNLI gals.

There's been a lot of cutting out ready for sewing:

Some new and some donated fabrics have been for the chop!

The cat fabric made into the trio sets that sell well...

I managed to eke out a few bits from a metre remnant of this lovely peacock material...

This donated piggy fabric makes me smile! I'm going to make some zippy bags out of this as well, it's one of those designs that will either appeal or not!

Hope you have a great week!! xxxxx

oh poor Neet, I do hope they can get her sorted soon. I do love the fabrics you've used this time, the peacock is gorgeous, and the pigs are fun! Happy WOYWW Helen #1

Thanks for the update on Neet. Adore the bunnies, and the hedgehog. How about crocheted or the knitted daffodils put on pins as a brooch to wear for St David's day? Love the piggy fabric especially with the darker pink liner. I need to get some fabric for my son's cushions can you recommend anywhere? Hugs Bj#3

Oh poor Neet. If you have them can you email me the details of where she is? Loving all the makes and your collection of Easter goodies is adorable. I wanted to do some for the GoW but with all the Darling Daughter stuff it has been difficult to find the time! I am determined to squeeze in SOMETHING for sure. Love the Chicken cosy so might hunt up a pattern. Great for in the car and waiting for stuff knitting - I'm on the arms of a big heavy jumper so can't easily take it with me to knit on the go!
Happy WOYWW!

Your little knitties are fun and I think the daffodils would sell well though I agree they are a bit triffid like - or even a Demigorgon?(Ben likes them?) That peacock fabric if fab and I'm sure the little piggies will sell too. Annie called me in to help use up a bit more if our fabric that you gave us. I just wish I was a bit more imaginative. x x Jo 🌈

Dear Jan! Please give Neet a big hug via Mail from me. I don't know her so well, but I feel with her.
The piggy fabric makes me smile too! I love it! Will sell well.
Christmas is ove and you work for Easter! Stunning!
Yesterday we had ice all over my hometown. I stayed at home. Better for my old bones. Best wishes, Eva from Austria.

Your latest knitties are fab...not sure about the daff either[even if it is Welsh]. I love how you combo the fabric colours...I'm sure they will all sell well esp the piggies.

I'm sure Neet would love to be home but she is in the best place. Her problem is similar to what my mum had and they didn't keep an eye on it well enough and she ended up back in hospital so hopefully they will sort it properly before sending her home. Loving the pigs, very sweet. I need to get out soon but wanted to visit a few before setting off and it is Wednesday Lol! Have a great woyww. Hugs angela x4x

I think the piggy fabric is great…and I love the piggy creme egg cover too, makes me giggle to be honest, to be having a pig with an egg up it! Childish huh!! I hope the knitting and sewing are as good a therapy as ever!

Poor Neet, I do hope she is able to go home soon. Love that peacock fabric and the piggies are cute. Oddly enough I was thinking about the Triffids the other day, wondering if everyone would remember the book if there were bright lights in the sky! Yes, I know, my mind wanders off all the time!
