A LIFE ON THE OCEAN WAVE....

Another lovely week has whizzed by! We've had a great time with both our boys home, walks in the sunshine, meals out and lots of games of Cribbage and Yahtzee...happy days!

I've done some sewing in preparation for the next fair but the JanCave has been taken over by Son No 1...enough said!

Some more beautiful ATCs turned up this week, I thought I'd show you all that now grace my cork board:

Thank you so much each and every one who swapped with me, I can't tell you how much I love looking at all these beauties - small works of art but mighty in outcome!!

As you might expect with the Jubilee weekend, The Queen had some last engagements to fulfil - she attended a WI garden party and then took up residence in the RNLI shop!

I think she looked rather fine with some yellow wellies and RNLI flags!

On the Saturday, she attended the crew and volunteer bbq and was  shown the Atlantic 85 class boat:

I think she approved, lol!!

Hope you've had a marvellous week with whatever you got up to - keeeeeep crafting xxxxxxx

It's so good to see all your atcs on the cork board. I am glad that HM got to see the RNLI shop and lifeboat!! There were no street parties or anything round here but it did mean I got to enjoy it all on tv live rather than on catch up. Happy WOYWW Helen #3

Great photos Jan, I am so relieved your ATC arrived. Only have Julia's to get to her and I'll be happy.
I'd love to have my 2 sons to be close to visit, Your times with yours sound like the fun things we'd be doing. I do plan to spend 2/3 days with the one in Southern Iowa as Cami is having many softball games coming up and I am feeling so much better. Hoping next year a visit to Germany, fingers crossed. Enjoy a good week.

Love the fact that Her Maj got seen out and about in Burry Port. I bet she had a whale of a time (no pun intended) and has now put her seal of approval firmly on the lifeboat crew, boats and shop.
How lovely that you had your boys for the weekend - such a joy I bet to enjoy your time with them. Precious moments.
Fab atc's and so many - what a lovely memory board you have there in your Jan Cave.
Hugs, Neet 7 xx

Her Majesty looks very regal for sure. Oh cribbage and Yahtzee! Love both but it's been years - I doubt I could manage cribbage but heck, I can still shake those dice LOL! I have another stray ATC show up so I have to hope all mine will eventually make it to their recipients. LOVE that dotty fabric, envy you your visits from the boys, and bet you don't really mind giving up the cave for one of them.
Happy WOYWW to you!

You received some incredible ATCs. All so clever and nicely positioned on your board. I was nearly blown away when I saw the ones you made. I only made two, one for Julia and one for my PIF. You and I were definitely on the same wavelength.

Loved seeing the Queen as she insoected the boat in her wellies. Cleverly put together to celebrate her jubilee. Wish they had included more of the celebration here in the states.

I wanted to let everyone know, I am the most unlucky person on WOYWW today. After linking, I was kicked offline due to an electricity outage. When it came back on, I saw my entire city is now required to boil water for the next 24 hours due to a water break. I wanted to quickly explain so everyone didn't think I had forgotten to visit. Storms still raging overhead, so I am copying and pasting this message in case I get caught offline again. Happy WOYWW from # 1.

What a great collection you've got there!! Such fun, I really do enjoy happy mail. The Queen looks like she had a blast - I hope she was just looking at that lifeboat, she hasn't got her lifejacket on!! Wasn't it a lovely weekend? Enjoyed watching all the pomp and ceremony (OK the concert was a bit here and there) and the parade cheered me up no end. Have a good week, love n hugs, Cindy #22

Love to see your sewing in preparation....
Love to see your cards/ATCs. Some are small works of art.
Sorry, I didn't write. (Me stupid frog, like Sancho and Pancho...).
I'll make it up to you as soon as possible.
I was only so happy with my card.
Your Queen is so beautiful. Really Majestic.
I dedicated a page of my diary to her and the Jubilee weekend.
Best wishes to you!
