IS THIS THE REAL LIFE? IS THIS JUST FANTASY?
I dunno, my life is bonkers enough, thank you very much!
Last week's bunting got sent off and I forgot to take a photo - typical :-D However, a new band baby was born last week and so more bunting was needed. I liked the colour selection of last week's so much, I did pretty much the same this time around as well.
I don't possess a die cutting machine so have become quite adept at drawing letters backwards on bonda-webbed fabric!
Hope the parents of little Macey will like this - her Grandad sits next to me in the brass band!
I've been crocheting granny squares for the WI blanket project - it's a perfect TV crafting thing to do and had been after a new colour. The tablecloths underneath were my charity shop bargain - £1 each - and will be cut up into flags in order to make huge lengths of bunting for a Barn Dance that I'm helping to organise. So, cheap but bright fabrics are the order of the day!
We had to take a photo of our WI banner that I helped make for a county reference project. I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed doing the applique background and am still proud of this!
And the reason for the Bohemian Rhapsody lyrics? G's camera club challenge was to illustrate a line from the very same song. We thought lots of people would do little men, thunderbolts and lightning etc so we scratched out heads and came up with this...it made us smile!
Just as well that I know my way around Corel Paint!
Stay tuned for more madness next week :-D

You're early! I'll comment now though! Love the bunting and am very impressed at your backwards written letters! I was watching "Saving Lives at Sea" tonight and thought of you and your RNLI fund raising. Have a great week. Helen (no number yet, surprisingly!)
Hi Jan, Love the bunting.
Love the wool colours.
Another great photo from your hubby.
I'm not taking part in WOYWW today or next week, as a lot on and away next week.
Hope you have a nice day. Sue
Ver clever of you and Gordon with the Bohemian Rhapsody photograph. Lovely and colourful to - very eye catching.
Seeing your WI Banner reminds me that years ago (and I do mean 'years') I and a friend made the flag for my Ranger Unit. It meant doing two of them and stitching them together. I wonder where it ended up? I know there's a piece of paper inside, rolled up, with our names on.
Love your bunting, what a lovely name, Macey.
Hugs, Neet 7 xx
Happy WOYWW. I always love your bunting. Gorgeous colours. Great to see the WI banner again. We must definitely arrange to meet up once the weather improves. I am not venturing out much at the moment. Ali x #11
I always forget to take photographs of things that need to be given to other's it would have been amazing I know that for sure Jan. Congrats to the New Parents, Macey's banner is fab. There's something quite jolly about banners they really brighten the place up.
You've got plenty to keep you going there, have fun along the way you do an incredible job.

Hiya Jan,and love the bunting. Unusual name, Macey. Not heard very often. That banner is amazing, you did a great job there. Definitely something to be proud of.Laughing at the Lyrics choice, bet no-one else picked that line! Love & hugs to you all, Shaz #5 XxXx
Hi Jan, yet another lovely set of bunting. You have plenty of great colours for your squares and the flag is lovely, I used to love doing applique in art at school.
Have a great week Jan x no19
I love your banners. I wouldn't be able to write the letters by hand and backwards, though. I've been to Burry Port back in 2012 or 2014 (before we moved to Llandudno) and found the best chippy ever!
The bunting is beautiful and I'm sure Macey's parents will be delighted with it, it's so pretty. What a lovely selection of wool for your crochet - I've been crocheting sleeping mats for a homeless charity for the last few months and I make the yarn from the numerous plastic charity bags put through people's doors - it's a boring selection of white with a touch of text - I am yearning for bright colours! Great graphics for the song and an unusual take on it - I bet no-one else thought of that!
Hope you have a great week,
Hugs, Diana xx #15
Hi Jan!! Don't fall off your chair in seeing me joining in for WOYWW.... it's been too long. Your bunting for Macey is adorable! I'm sure the family will be tickled pink. The banner is amazing; you have every right to be proud. I love the little sheep.
Happy WOYWW

Hi Jan, love the bunting. Lovely name - I spent a few seconds trying to work out the baby's name but it didn't help that I was reading the 'c' as an 'o'! The tablecloths look a great bargain and I just love the mix of colours in your bag of wool. The banner is fabulous and you are so right to be proud of your work. Never used Corel Paint but imagine it's not easy so I'm totally impressed with your unusual interpretation of the song lyrics. Good luck to G in the competition. Hugs, Elizabeth x #29
Never thought of buying tablecloths for spare material - Very impressed here!
Will have to remember that tip while I'm looking for teaplates in our local charity shops. I keep dropping them (cos I got no feelin in the ends of me fingas!) so odd ones don't hurt.
Have a good week blowing and sewing.

Great sewing projects, love the banner. Have a great day. Anesha x
Fabulous bunting Jan (my grandmother's maiden name coincidentally). Great idea to use table cloths as a cheap source of fabric too. The WI banner is definitely something to be proud of. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #3
Love the bunting and the 'No, No, No' image! Thanks for sharing. Have a lovely week. With love and God Bless. Caro x (#31)
You have a real knack with those named buntings Jan - they really will be treasured. Well done on the No! No! No! idea - brilliant. I really love the banner. I made a Mothers' Union one for my Mum and Dad's church in the 1980s - they were so pleased and proud of it. xxx Jo
Cute bunting and cute name! Great deal on the tablecloths! Also love your banner! You did a great job on the applique! Had a laugh at your take on the lyrics! Have a great day!

Hi Jan. Great bunting - and what gorgeous charity finds - tablecloths at £1 each - obviously you have really good and useful charity shops!!! Must come visit them. It's good to see the WI banner out again - it's so lovely. Well done G on the photo.
Take care. God bless.

As always love the bunting. I remember using Corel. I need to knit/crochet some squares for a charity. Your WI seems much more lively than ours!!!! Thanks for popping by. Anne x #14
Hi there Lunch Lady Jan am day late but lost yest as was out most of it. Very late posting. Really love the bunting for Mackey, very skilful letters! You’re very imaginative. I don’t know Correl but it looks great and I agree those tablecloths were a bargain find!

I love all your projects! Have a great week. Dorlene #30
I was over at a friend's house yesterday and she'd made a granny square with sort-of-roundish pattern... and now that I see your stash of bright colored 'wool' (cotton?) my fingers itch to start crocheting again! The banner for the baby is lovely!! Have a great weekend dear! Love from the Netherlands, Marit #32
Love the new bunting, and the idea of the bright table clothes to make the ones for the barn dance-sounds like fun (not been to a barn dance for years).

I am grinning from ear to ear over the display on the monitor shot :) and the banner is fabulous. ( both of them) I bet those become treasured heirlooms Jan, that is so very sweet of you to gift them to the families. ~Stacy #28
Hi Jan! Sorry to be so late in my replies, but this is the first chance I have gotten all week! Thanks for your visit! Thanks for the song, it will now haunt me all day! But that's OK, I love it. Your bunting is awesome, I will have to make one for my DD if she ever gets in the family way, so cool. And you are right to be proud of your applique work, it is beautiful! See you tomorrow, Lindart #22
