 ALL KINDS OF EVERYTHING...

It's been a week of getting things done and having some fun as well! I've finished off a few WiPs, used up some gifted fabric and been to a ball, just another humdrum week at LLJ Towers *grin*

So, in no particular order comes this week's roll call:

Tote bags using some doggy fabric which always goes well down the cafe...

This lovely fabric was gifted to me by Denise, a friend from band - I already had the orangey yellow spot which works well.

I made some more gnomes as nearly all the second lot had sold....

And I wrangled 9 metres of red netting into a three layered tutu for my friend who is the Red Fairy in the local panto!! You know, just the everyday sort of thing you get asked to help with, lol!

I gathered together some knitted squares that some RNLI friends and I have been making over the past couple of months in order to make blankets for the Family Centre in town:

By chance everyone used the same tones...that worked out well!

And I had a happy couple of hours with glue and paper making some more C cards:

Using some of the gorgeous die cuts that Diana sent plus some papers that I found in my stash. Nothing exotic but I enjoyed the making.

It hasn't all been crafting, as mentioned G and I attended the 50th Anniversary Ball of the Burry Port RNLI station that was restarted in 1973. It was a lovely evening spent with friends celebrating the achievements of many people:

And good to have a chance to dress up as well!

I'm not sure if I'll be able to post next week but you might see some pics of me with those naughty crafting sisters in Shrewsbury, lol!!

Have a great week xxxx

What a fab picture of you two at the ball. I thought the red netting was a ball gown you were making. Gosh, when I read about your make I was in awe. 9 Metres of netting! Ouch!
Loving all your makes as usual, and cannot believe the squares all worked out as they did colour ways. How good is that!
Have a great time visiting.

Gorgeous photo of you both doing the ball, glad it was a good do. I expect lifeboat people know well how to celebrate!
I know I saw the tulle, it it’s still a a amazing amount of the stuff ain’t it, and I think to begin with, wrangle is a he best word, with 9metres I expect for a minute or two you can’t see the wood for the trees! Amazing or spooky about the similar toned squares, can’t decide. No oics of the bottle because it photos better in the dark and of course, it’s not on my desk so I keep forgetting!

Oh what a super photo of you both, looks like you had a "ball". Loving all the Christmas car making, the red fairy and especially the gnomes. The colours of the squares are superb, how amazing is that! Adore the orange fabric and read doggy as dodgy at first, oh my, need new glasses. Hugs BJ#14

O wow, you pushed your time to the limit doing all those things! I LOVE the gnomes, no wonder they sell so quick. And 9 meters of 'netting' (we call it 'tule' overhere) is quite a challenge... I hated the stuff when I had to work with it at my school in the eighties (education for becoming a seemstress/dressmaker) It's good to see you dressed up and smiling, means you had a good time. Thanks for stopping by my blog today, love from Holland, Marit #10

Thought the red tutu might have been for the ball!! Wow what an exciting busy week, and I really love those Christmas gnomes!! I wish you were a bit nearer I would love to help you with your die cuts (not a sentence you hear every day!!). Have fun next week whatever you are up to. Happy WOYWW, love n hugs Cindyxx #12

Happy WOYWW. Look at you two - looking very smart. I love that bright fabric donated by Denise. The colours are gorgeous. I imagine that handling netting is not the easiest task - and creating a 3-layer tutu is well beyond what I would tackle. You are so clever! If I hadn't found so many Christmas cards in my Christmas stash cube, I was going to purchase some die cuts from a Facebook group. An easier way to make cards and use up papers. Ali x #15

You two do look great in your photo! The tulle reminds me of an apricot and lime tutu my Mum made me when I was four, and my ballet class were dancing at a local theatre. That’s a lot of work!
Your bags and other makes are looking lovely. Your gnomes are really cute and I’m waiting to hear them muttering’Ye big job’ and ‘Crivens’ in their box 🀣.
Enjoy yourselves in Shrewsbury and say hi to Annie and Jo for me.
Take care and happy WOYWW
