 GNOME, GNOME ON THE RANGE....

Sorry about the lyric today, the little blighters have taken over my life this week! I sold the first lot at the fair and then to friends (thanks Twiglet, Caro and Ali) then decided to do another fair this Saturday so it's been all systems go.

Never mind Elf on a Shelf, it's Gnome in the Home at the moment! (thanks Kim for that inspiration xx)  There are a few awaiting hats/noses/embellishments:

and others that are finished:

They'll make a fun display on the stall, that's for sure!

Other crafting took place at my mate Kim's on Monday - we were decorating wooden bauble blanks..

Our other friend Sue was also there, I think we talked for half an hour before any crafting got done, lol!!  But we did have a lot of fun rummaging through Kim's extensive collection of embellishments.

I cut out that poinsettia from the ribbon and glued it down, it was very effective and as much as I wanted to use those purple Stickles, it never happened, we ran out of time!

We had a cracking morning, good mates having a natter and making something to boot!

Hope you have a good week as well, may your crafting go smoothly xxxx  Linking up with lovely deskers around the world for What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday xx

Gnome in the Home. Inspired, Kim!! Fabulous copllec ton of gnomes, methinks they may become a bit of a staple make for you! I must say they do look fab. And fab too, to have a good rummage through Kim's collection, that looks like a lot of fun and the bonus is the production as well! Hope this weekends fair goes well, I'm going to say that with every Saturday closer to Christmas, the better they'll be!

How fun! I love those sweet Gnomes! I decorate with them most every season! I don't have anyone close to craft with so I'm always alone in my craftroom! Glad you enjoyed the visit!

I adore your gnomes and might have a go myself. I’m sewing for a Christmas fair, ran out of iron on wadding so am now quilting pieces before cutting out the patterns (spec cases). Catriona

Glad that the Gnomes are selling nicely! I think you'll find that I coined Gnome in the Home on last week's comments and you said you would borrow it, but that's Ok, maybe Kim came up with it too! Great minds think alike! Your craft session looks like you had a lot of fun! I think that Poinsettia would look great on the wooden bauble! Have a great week, Lindart #18

What a lovely happy trio you are. Happy smiles all around. Lovely ornaments you are busy making but the gnomes say it all - they are fabulous. I really love the silver ones and am sorely tempted. It's for a good cause as well so if you have one of the silver ones for sale please put my name on it and let me know how much I owe you.
I've never seen the daffodils before. That is a real Welsh display with the dragonomes (see what I did there?).
I wish you every success for your next sale but am sure you don't really need it as the goods sell themselves with the Jan touch on them.
Hugs, Neet 12 xx
I was at the caravan today and slept until turned nine and then had to quickly shower, dress and persuade DH to take me down the road to get on the internet. So we sat there in the rain linking into woyww. Doh! xx

Good luck at your fair. I was going to do some xmas fairs but had to cancel, so disappointed. Love your gnomes, they look so cute and will def be an attraction to your stall. Are you in need of any free fabric, I have some quilting cotton I would like to donate to a good cause. Happy WOYWW! Elle #10 this week
