WOYWW 238 - FESTIVE FABRIC FRENZY FROLICS!

Happy Christmas everyone!  Just a quick post from me today....

I've been making a prezzy for someone this past week, so am cheating with a two day old shot of my desk!

I broke into my recent ribbon stash to make some handles for a little craft caddy....that was brave :-)

The finished item...quite pleased with it actually!

I'll finish with a pic of my lovely tree!

Thank you for all your kind words, fun, sharing and support throughout this year. May 2014 bring happiness, love, health, laughter and crafting joy to all Deskers, wherever you are :-)

Happy Christmas, Jan. What a beautiful shot of your tree - did the stars just "happen" when you took the picture, or did you do something special to it?? Have a truly lovely day.

Happy Christmas from a VERY HOT Cape Town, South Africa. I do think you are a genius at your sewing machine. I might be inspired to make one of those myself...don't hold your breath...it might take me a while. #15

Hark! how the bells, sweet silver bells
All seem to say, throw cares away.
Christmas is here, bringing good cheer
To young and old, (meek and the bold)
Ding, dong, ding, dong, that is their song,

Loved the fabric ribbon,
Loved seeing you huff and puff
Always enjoy the visit to your place
(Sorry this stanza doesn't rhyme or have a recurring metre)

One seems to hear words of good cheer
From everywhere, (filling the air)
O, how they pound, raising the sound
O’er hill and dale, telling their tale
Songs of good cheer, christmas is here!)
Merry Christmas, merry christmas, merry merry merry Christmas ..

Have enjoyed the visits to your place throughout the year.
Merry Christmas and happy WOYWW from #1.

Lovely tree, lovely projects, lovely year of comments from you to me. The madness took over yesterday so here I am finishing the list! Hours and hours of cooking, wolfed down in moments, leftovers for a week....gotta wonder, would time at my desk been time better spent? LOL! Family would NOT agree. but now, normal life resumes. oh well.....

Happy WOYWW Boxing Day!
Mary Anne (waiting for the family clear out so I can clear up at #7)

Catching up visiting blogs - can't believe I've been down and out for several weeks now! Your Christmas tree is delightful. And oh, I can see how the photo book would get you a bit teary eyed.

The craft caddy came out looking great!

Peace,
