WOYWW 887

 NOTHING BUT BLUE SKIES...

Next week's WOYWW will be a cracking number won't it? 888! Neet would have loved that, we shared a joy in numbers and this one is amazing, unbelievable that WOYWW is still going after that many weeks xx

I've been quite busy getting stock made up to have things in hand before my op next week:

I sold a cross body bag in this cherry blossom fabric to a fellow stall holder at the last fair and she ordered three trios as well. I had to order some more and got four metres as it's being discontinued so I'm making a pile of things from it.

I might have accidentally ordered some more fabric as well:

A bit different to what I've been using recently, the check is really bright and funky and the grey/pink roses are very elegant - they'll hopefully appeal to someone!

I did a long over due bit of machine maintenance...

The amount of fluff and lint that came out of the depths was, quite frankly, totally shameful!! That old paintbrush is brilliant for winkling out bits from the most inaccessible corners. I won't leave it as long again...hangs head.....

I received a couple more ATCs and lovely cards:

Shaz in Oz sent me a beautiful ATC in greens and done with Lavinia stamps in honour of Neet, plus a lovely note in the card which meant a lot. As did Mary Anne, whose ATC (bottom left) had a wonderful sentiment on it. I also loved the fab envelope she'd created from a magazine page, it made our postie laugh too!

The temps this past week have been perfect for me, we went for a long walk early on Saturday morning:

Don't you just hate these crowded beaches lol?! The sound track was of Oystercatchers, sand martins and skylarks, good for the soul.

And that's it, hope all you lovely gals are keeping well and happy, enjoy your crafting xxxxxx

Oh now I always think of you with the special numbers thing, I'm a fellow lover too. I could do with the lint delving too, still have my machine out since before Zen. It has developed a squeak whilst stitching, hubby said he'd have a look - must remind him. Yes Wales does have lovely long empty beaches if you know where to look - just sad that they hold such difficult memories for me. Hugs Bj#4

Gorgeous fabrics Jan. That funky check one will make up well and your rosey one is so classy. As for your beach walk and the bird song - it sounds like heaven to me. A perfect way to enjoy an hour or two exercising. x x Jo 🌈

Happy WOYWW
LOL! Calendar, actually but I did think those cute kitty eyes might mess up the postal machines so glad to know they did not! Love both fabrics, that check is superb. Good luck on your op, and it will be lovely to have a long open beach to meander along once your eyes recover. That blue sky - wow.

I hope your cataract ops go well, Jan. 🤞🏻🤞🏻. Your fabs are lush and I can definitely recommend your cross body bags. Well done on your sewing machine maintenance, too.
Your beach walk - Cefn Sidan? - looks heavenly.
Happy WOYWW

Hi Jan, I bet the company where you get your fabric from love you. Well done with the sales though it's not surprising. Seeing the machine like that brings back memories for me as I spent many hours after school cleaning sewing machines. They soon fill up with fluff when they are used lots. Pleased you found the weather better this week, it's been a bit cooler here and we even had rain yesterday which i'm grateful for. Wishing you a lovely woyww, hugs Angela x10x

I like specific numbers, especially multiples of 7. The patterns of the fabrics you've been working with are beautiful. I love the beach, and that view is gorgeous. Happy WOYWW!

I do love an empty beach. Alone with nature! We are surrounded by a counterpane of fields at the moment, wonderful. I have been meaning to dust and hoover my machine, telling myself that I will put the cover on afterwards🥴
We are having a few rainy days so no sightseeing. Hugs Angela #12

I am just back from the weekend away at a Celtic Music Festival - very little internet! Happy belated WOYWW! Well 888 will be a fabulous number - but 887 is prime so also a good number! I always love it when you say you accidentally acquired some more fabrics. That cherry blossom one is lovely.

Good morning, Jan.
that beach looks so tranquil. I think I'd be napping on a blanket. LOL
Love the fabrics. I just love when things fall into my cart and say 'take me home' or 'you know you can't live without me'. LOL
I also love numbers. I want to study numerology once things quiet down here.
Op? Feel free to email personally. I think I've missed something.
Hugs & Creative Blessings!
