IN AND OUT THE DUSTY BLUEBELLS
Hello lovely Deskers, so nice to meet up again and what a beautiful week it's been! This is my favourite time of the year with all the fresh new leaves and blossoms blossoming all over the place, it's been a real tonic after the very grey start to the year.
Last Wednesday was Rhys' 30th and we went out for the day, first to Llandeilo, a very cute little market town and then to an NT place which has a Welsh prince's castle in the grounds. It was a fab day and a great way for our youngest to celebrate.
You could see for miles from the castle, a 360 degree panorama!
It's a big hill to climb but the bluebell woods were putting on a great show:
It was good for the soul to just stand and absorb it all!
I also attended another craft fair, the last until the end of May:
I sold a few peg bags and cross body bags for walkers, guess everyone is enjoying being out!
There's been some crafting going on, I'm replacing some stock:
This sunflower fabric is so in your face - I love it!
This canvas fabric was really cheap, there was a lot of it for a fiver. I've cut out three totes, 2 pegbags, a cross body bag and 2 zipped bags...lots of profit to be made there!
And the blanket is growing - as demonstrated by my glamorous assistant......
...what you can see of him anyway lol!! It's really seasidey isn't it? I have really enjoyed making this one, only another three rows of colour and it's done.
I may not be around next week as we're away so have a great couple of weeks and I'll see you for the 17th Anniversary!!

Oh my Jan, you're still into making bags and stuff and they get better and better... I really love the bag with the Japanese waves on it (Hanging to the right on the photo of you on the craft fair) and you look so happy on both photos (and a child aging thirty is 'a thing' isn't it? I remember how it felt when my 'manchild' got to that age...) Happy woyww and hug from Holland dear! Marit #11
What a lovely place and perfect for a celebration. Hoping to meet up with Dear Son for a trip to the American Museum in Bath for the Gee's Bend Quilts exhibit in May - lovely to see our boys isn't it? Stunning canvas fabric, and the wavy blankie looks amazing too. Where do you find the energy?? Happy a-bit-better WOYWW!

On the subject of smells, I have been drowned out by aftershave in church lately and had to leave which is a shame. As for the cabbage I cleaned the dishwasher again and the washing machine to no avail. Hubby checked out the downstairs loo sink trap and has bought a new one anyways. Nothing actually made a difference but the smell did dissipate after a few days - we have had a mouse issue in the workshop and one could have got under the floorboards of the house from there but hubby blocked it off and well it could have been trapped down there hence my suspicion and googling it the cabbage smell is often noted. Now to your post.....Oh the bluebells are amazing yet again and oh so more intense in person we have loads in the woods behind us. Love the sunflowers and the blanket is AMAZING! Have a super time away. Hugs Bj#5
