CAN YOU SEE THE FLOWERS GROW?
Hi there lovely deskers, hope you've had a great week. I had a busy couple of days then was struck down by a horrible cold so it's been a week of two halves for me!
Last Saturday saw another market:
It was a bit quieter with footfall but we took some money and the total grows. I was feeling a bit shonky here tbh but was really bad on Sunday onwards, ah well....
Before the snots arrived I'd done a little bit of crafting:
I LOVE that vibrant green with the Starry Sky fabric!
I made some gift trios, a cross body bag plus another zippy bag as they go really well plus some leftover strips to make lanyards...
I'm doing a stall at the Emergency Services Day at the RNLI boathouse this Saturday and thought these might go ok. Worth a punt!
My SiL (G's sister) has crocheted for a while but started making these flowers recently:
Aren't they fabulous?! I love the colour combination and the covered jar, the bronze twine is the perfect finishing touch. Great job Catherin, you're on to a winner there!
That's it for today, I'm still not 100% so am having a quiet couple of days. Hope you're keeping ok xxxxxxx

Sorry you've been poorly with a cold, hope it goes soon and you do well at the stall this weekend. Your SIL's crocheted flowers look fantastic! Happy WOYWW Helen #1
Get well soon Jan - there are still lots of winter bugs about. We need a bit more sunshine and warm weather I think. I love that Starry night fabric and your makes look so tempting. Well done to your SIL on that fab vase of flowers - they look so delicate. My attempts at flowers for my twiddlers always look a bit hefty! x x Jo 🌈
I hope you both get better from your colds very quickly. You have a great eye for colour and your bags are looking great. Your SIL’s flowers are gorgeous.
Happy WOYWW

Really hope you’re feeling much better very soon. Life is sometimes so cruel for folks that do so much for others. Look after yourself for now.

Not so much computer art as computer scrapbooking 🤣
Oh I’m sorry you aren’t feeling good, it’s awful when you’re doing something important and you start to feel poorly, makes it a longer day. Wednesday and still feeling rough, it really got you huh. Feel better girlfriend. I like the lanyards, good idea!

Sorry to hear you are under the weather Jan. Hope you are feeling a bit better tomorrow for your next sale. Love the starry night with the green and those crocheted flowers are beautiful (clever SIL). Stay safe and Happy belated WOYWW. Sarah
So sorry you had to go through a Spring Cold🤧 Hope you are feeling better now. I love all the things you are making! Makes me want to get back into sewing...! The flowers are really beautiful! I'd have them on my table any day (and Mittsy wouldn't eat them!)! Sorry I'm so late this week, busy few days! 🌸Lindart #15🌹
Gorgeous fabric and those flowers, wow. So sorry for the generic post - my back is still just too painful for my desk and two-fingered tiny keyboard typing is too much for my usual wordy replies. But Happy quite late WOYWW nonetheless!
