ALL THE COLOURS OF THE RAINBOW...
Happy Wednesday all you lovely Deskers, hope you've had a cracking week. Hugs to those of you who've been under the weather, hope the warmer temperatures and lighter evenings are helping lift your spirits xx
Another busy week....
Last Saturday saw me at the town market:
I bagged a corner spot in the hall which meant I could spread out a bit more! We did well, only another £130 to break the £14k, woohoo! I've got an Easter Fayre this Saturday, maybe we'll do it, maybe not, it'll happen eventually xx
The bed in the JanCave is covered with fabric cut out ready:
I LOVE that rainbow tiger stripe so much!! Can't wait to get cracking with that beauty but have to finish off other stuff first including peg bags, a lot of them have sold recently.
Lynne sent me a beautiful little work set in the shape of a bird she'd stitched with patterns and beads, it's gorgeous:
The wings fold together with a popper and there's a little scissors pouch, needle book and a tiny pocket, such wonderful details. I love it Lynne, thank you so much!!
The nicer weather has meant being out for more walks - G and I went to Aberglasney gardens again yesterday and the gardens were lovely but my goodness, it was cold and windy. One of the gardeners was in shorts! But the blossom and spring flowers were glorious:
Inviting paths to meander along...
This blossom tree was stunning and alive with bees...
The camellias were in full throttle...
And the Fritillary Meadow is getting better every year as they spread...
And a very pretty pastel tulip bed which worked really well with the interplanted bronze grasses. We stood and admired it all and then really enjoyed warming up in the cafe!!
That's it, Happy 1st April! Hope you have a lovely Easter weekend and get out and about. See you soon! xx

What fabulous photos from the gardens. Those tulips especially are beautiful. I can't believe the number of people wearing shorts, mostly men trying to be tough, although workers I can understand a bit if you are going to get hot, but it makes me shiver! Well done on your fantastic fundraising. Happy WOYWW, April 1st and Easter... Helen #1 xx
Ah what an uplifting post Jan. The garden photos are beautiful. Shrewsbury looked wonderful in the sunshine yesterday too. Well done on all your sales. I do hope you reach your target - awesome! x x Jo 🌈
WOW. Too much to see this week. You looks happy as Larry (BTW who IS Larry and why is he so happy!?) and I imagine that £130 is going to come to you quick as anything. Love the little stitched bird from Lynne. It's a keeper. And your photos from your walk are all so bright and springlike I am ready for the weather to settle (I hope) into a bit of sunshine and warmth! Happy on-time WOYWW!

Spring is definitely popping up though we still have some cold days here too. Great to hear how well the sales are doing. Love the bird, very clever and useful too. Happy woyww, Angela x5x
Well done on your amount raised for the RNLI, and good luck for the Easter fair. I love your tiger rainbow stripe and I have to say that our Welsh flag peg bag gets lots of use!
Your walk at Aberglasney looked beautiful and I especially like the fritillary lawn. Spring is definitely sprung all of a sudden.
I’ve a few sewing kits to make for friends but do you think they would sell if I made a few for your stall?
Happy WOYWW

Oh wow what a super gift from Lynne, curious how it folds up, what a great idea. Your corner plot certainly worked out well, you defo need the space. Super flower photos, wish my snake's head would spread just have 1 or 2 each year which of course is better than none. Adore the tulip colours I'd have tarried a while there too. Hugs Bj#6

Hello my lovely. Love those gardens - the tulips are stunning! Mine look OK but I regret not planting more last year. Congratulations on that fundraising - I'm sure it won't take long to reach £14k! Have a good week, love n hugs Cindyxx #9

Happy Belated WOYWW. Beautiful Aberglasney. Always loved visiting there. Have you been upstairs in the house? Definitely worth doing a tour. Those tulips are incredible.
