WHO PUT THE COLOURS IN THE RAINBOW?

Hello lovely deskers and how are you doing today? The sun is out, hooray, it makes everything seem better doesn't it? We've been out and about a bit more and it's so wonderful to see the spring flowers and the blossom in the hedgerows...even more important after the months of rain and gloom!

Neet is home now and is doing ok but might be in and out of hospital in the future, fingers crossed that won't be too often. A few of us UK based Deskers got together to send her some flowers - if I missed you out then I'm sorry, I did try to get around everyone. Anyhow, here's a pic of the bouquet from the florists' website:

Bright and cheerful, Neet sent a quick note to say how thrilled she was. Get better soon lovely gal, we miss you on the desks xx

Last Saturday was another fair - apologies to you who've seen this on FB already:

It was a lovely few hours, lots of people stopping by and chatting and we made £258, not too shabby! My stall was next to Magpie Jewellery run by my friend Jan, we get on ever so well and always have a laugh! She's JanJewellery, I'm Janthe Bag lolol!!!!

I have been doing a bit of crafting, got to get back on the treadmill as there's a few events coming up:

I was gifted some fat quarters in fabrics that I probably wouldn't have chosen but they're making for a bright and cheerful simple quilt.

And I've only got six more squares to do before I have enough for a blanket, fruity colours eh?

And that's it for today, short and sweet. I've ordered some more fabric so will have some new stash to share next week!
Have a great day xxxx

Thanks for sorting the flowers for Neet. Hope they brightened her day. And speaking of bright! Those squares are lush. Going to be a fun blanket for sure. And the stall takings were not to bad. Your prices are so reasonable how can people walk by? I couldn't! Happy WOYWW, in a pre-kniting day dash!

Well done on he stall, Jan. You’re raising a fantastic amount for the RNLI. It’s lovely to see you having market makes though Janthebag isn’t what I’d choose for you! I’ll have a think. Your fruity bags and blanket squares look delicious.
Take care and happy WOYWW

Happy WOYWW. I love all the bright colours in your post. The sunshine is definitely wonderful - but it does make me want to just sit in our conservatory and read! I will do some of that soon. It makes me feel officially retired. Glad to hear Neet is out of hospital. Ali x #11

Those fat quarters look so bright and cheery! Just what I need on a snowy day! Can't wait to see that "fruity" blanket with all the squares together! When I used to make blankets like that it was hubby's job to sew them all together! Beautiful flowers, I hope Neet can stay home now for good. Have a wonderful week, ❤️Lindart #13

Lovely patterns for the quilt and the colours of your blanket squares are utterly scrumptious!! Glad you did well on Saturday but your stuff is so lovely I am not surprised it sells well. Thanks for your earlier visit - I'm late as advertised. The bunny bases have been hanging around for years, I finally decided to get the glue gun out and finish them. Took about 10 mins. I will give one to Lionel and the other two to my friend for her 2 grandchildren. Neeed to find some lindt bunnies!!
Have a good week, Love n hugs, Cindyxx #11
