A COAT OF MANY COLOURS...
Hope you've all had a good week! It's another Wednesday, how on earth do they come around so fast? Blog Day and Bin Day are the two constants eh?!
I had a brief email from Neet, she's home and doing ok, if still tired. Let's hope her recovery speeds up now that Spring is on the way, the evenings are getting lighter and the daffs staring to bloom xx
A brief post today after last week's marathon! Saturday saw me at the new town market, there were about 28 stalls, pretty good footfall and we did ok - I'd do another.
I sold three pegbags after months of not selling any - must be a sign of Spring! The next craft fair is on 14th March so a nice break before that.
This fabric is fun eh? I thought it would go well down in the Harbour tearooms.
What a state of the bed in the JanCave....a little bit of everything. The box on the right contains my Christmassy yarns which G did on the machine featured last week. I've been using some of the rewound cakes and they are fantastic, they don't move about, the yarn pulls smoothly from the middle and it doesn't tangle towards the end of the ball. Win win win!
I got some cheap chunky yarn (Yarnsmiths brand from Wool Warehouse) and have been crocheting up some simple treble blankets, aimed for the Cats Protection League. Mindless stuff but good while watching the Olympics!
Hope you're all well and happy - may your crafting be stress free. I'm off to this new craft group this morning so some comments may be later.
Byeeeeeee xxxx

the latest fair sounds a good one but glad you've got a gap till the next one! Hope you have fun at the new craft group later. Good to have a bit of an update from Neet. xx Happy WOYWW Helen
Blog/Bin and Church/Homegroup Days for me. Evenings Dancing and Badminton. But still I often forget what day it is. Super stall and hope the craft group is fun. Hugs Bj#3
Your chunky blankets are fab. I can do trebles so maybe I could manage one. All my little knitties are finished so I need a new project. I think your wool winder has been put to good use and all your yarn will be so easy to work with. I spend ages untangling mine. Have fun at you craft group x x Jo 🌈
Well done you at the craft fair. Have a great time at the new craft group...they wont know what hits them :-)

Well done for your sales at the fair! Your pegbags are excellent- our Welsh flag one is still going strong. Cat blankets are great to keep them warm in the shelter and to help settle cats in their new home. We still have the one we brought home with Thea and Dino.
I hope you enjoy your new crafting group.
Happy. WOYWW

Dear Jan! I'm sure, when pegbags are sold, springtime is comming soon. The fabric with the sailboats is nice! Great that the rewounded yarn cakes work so well. The blankets for the Cats Protection are so nice. Send you a hug.

You are looking fab behind your stand Miss Jan, just fab. I love that you have the ladders things on your stall, so good for brilliant displays. I went to a yarn show at the weekend with Laura and Janine and was blown away by how much I don’t know about knitting and crochet and also of course, the colours drew me in, the displays were just divine. Didn’t sucker me though, I need to learn first! I love that the first thing I noticed on your craft bed was a box of mice, and of course, I love the multi coloured blankets for CPL. only pics as usual have us captivated, and without taking anything away from the skill and the nail biting strategy, omg, I feel as though the curling competitions may well last till the summer!
You look in your element behind a stall of goodies! Thanks for the yarn winder info - mine is not yet unboxed, as the skating comp take all our time in prep. Just one more after this than I will be a winding fool!! Good new about Neet. Happy pre-Skating Comp WOYWW!

Sounds like a regular production line you,ve got there Jan. your stall looks lovely, as bright and colourful as your craft room! I may be in need of a peg bag myself - Have a feeling it was on its last legs when I last saw it. Not even sure I put it away for the winter… Hope you are all well, love n hugs Cindyxx #11
