YOU GOTTA HAVE FRIENDS....
Hi everyone, hope you've had a good week! I have to apologise for lack of comments last week, I've had vertigo and it's affected me quite badly. I finally got to meet up with Wipso, having had to reschedule cos of feeling dizzy but we eventually made it!
Yay! We had a lovely couple of hours together and Annie had bought me some presents including this gorgeous sparkly Christmas yarn. It was lovely to see Doddy, Annie's husband and meet up with Peggy the little dog as well xxx
I lost no time in using the new yarn, knitting is all I've felt like doing:
Some more mice...
And a new pattern for a choc orange Father Christmas cover!
Now the question is should he have eyes (he doesn't on the pattern) and various friends have said yes and no! I'll embroider some on one and see how he looks though I think you'll agree that his handlebar moustache is rather fine, lol!
Hope you have a great week xxx

Sorry you had a bout of vertigo, hope you are feeling better now. good that you got to meet up with Annie though. Hmm eyes.. they do look as if they're missing but the hat is quite far down so you can see why the pattern has none... half eyes maybe!! Happy WOYWW Helen #3
Lovely photo of you both. I do hope you are feeling better Jan and that maybe you can get some meds that help too. Your little knitties are fab and I'm sure they will sell quickly. I haven't thought about Christmas knitting just yet although the year is flying by. x x Jo 🌈
I’m glad you got to see Annie and family, that’s a lovely photo of you both. I love your Crispmouse and Vella wants to know if it’s catnip flavoured. 😻. Your Papa Noël is magnificent. You could just embroider closed eyes.
Take care and happy WOYWW

Oh yes he needs eyes. He won’t see where he’s going otherwise. Hoping you’re feeling better this morning.
Hugs,
Annie x
Sorry to read about the vertigo (hope you are feeling better now) but happy to see you two eventually met up and what a lovely photo it is of the two of you.
Love the meeces and Father Christmas works either way for me. Perhaps if we sawq one with and one without side by side we could make a better decision.
Please take care of you.

Pleased you got together and had a nice time. I think the snowman's been having such a good time that he has had to cover his eyes, he's had too much mulled wine. Happy woyww, hugs Angela x6x
Oh my gosh I'm so sorry to read that you've been struck by the vertigo again, you really do suffer and I feel for you, if only it had an obvious source.
Lovely lovely pic of you with Annie, bet you had a lovely day. I'm loving all the knitties, they are going to display so beautifully, I can't see you needing to keep much for next year.
Aw sorry to hear about the vertigo, hope it has settled down now. Super photo of you and Annie and super sparkly yarn, the Christmas mice are adorable. Hugs BJ#1
Hope the vertigo has gone away now Jan. Glad that you finally managed to catch up with Annie too. Love that mouse and I would say probably yes to eyes on Santa. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah
Hi Jan, what a lovely photo of you and Annie. I love the little mouse and Father Christmas - I think it might be useful for him to have eyes so he can see where he's going! It's been so long since I posted but I'm OK, I lost motivation big time for quite a while, but I'm getting back on track now the weather is cooler and my attic studio isnt' so boiling hot! I've just ordered some craft fabrics - first craft purchase for at least 6 months so hopefully I'll be back on the desks again soon!
Hope you have a great week,
Hugs, Diana #13
Yikes. Vertigo is no fun. I'd be terrified, in this house with stairs leading down to a hard stone tile floor. I'm drop-sy enough as it is! Lovely day with Wipso, I'm sure, and the Xmas stuff is really piling up isn't it? Well done you. and Happy WOYWW!
