 WE'LL MEET AGAIN....

I'm going to take a break from blogging for a while - please don't worry, all is ok! - think I just need a change . I will be back (said in a Terminator Voice) and most of you know me on FaceBook so can keep up with the goings on in Wales. I've hardly missed a week since joining all those years ago but feel now's the time for a little vacation xx

The desk has seen some action this week when it's been grey and dismal outside:

After all the bright in-your-face colours of recent weeks, I've been working with a softer palette and really love this pretty fresh combo:

The silvery grey spot is the perfect match - Spring is hopefully just around the corner!

This is a sweet pairing too:

Such a pretty fabric from PoundFabrics online, it was only £4 a metre, I have really enjoyed working with it. I've got my first craft fair lined up for April so these should go well, fingers crossed!

I only had navy yarn to outline this last lot of squares so that's what got used, a different effect from the usual white.

And this is my latest yarn purchase (they just fell into my basket, honest guv!)

I might do a wavy striped baby blanket with white in between the colours...or a v stitch....or a granny...something will present itself no doubt, lol!

Thanks for all the friendship, love, support and many many comments, I do value it all and will be back sometime in the future.

Have a good week and keep crafting! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

For the first time in my life, I feel sorry for not being on face book.
I am completely torn in my soul. I understand your desire for change, for a break. But I will miss you terribly.
I am reassured because you write that everything is ok. I hope you set off for new shores that will make you happy. And I wish you every success for the craft fair.
I hope you come back one day. I'll be waiting for you.

You have such an eye for colour, Jan, those pastels look beautiful, and I love the colours of your yarn. I will miss seeing you on WOYWW so much, although we keep in touch in other ways. Yours is the first blog I look for every week.
Take care and I hope to see you back on here soon,
Hugs

I do hope it is not to long in the future before you are back with us on WOYWW. It won't be the same without you, your colourful fabrics and G's photo.
Your lovely 'makes' for the RNLI will be missed too, life has become very "Jan is in it" and I am sure it won't just be me who misses you, it will be lots of folk.
Love the gentle pink and pale blue, so pretty and by contrast I do like the navy edging to the crochet squares, in fact I prefer it to white.
Well, I wish you health and happiness, on your vacation from woyww, just waiting for you to return to blogland.

We all need a little break from time to time....just don't be a stranger my friend [more of a little sister really]. I will miss your fabrics and the clever way you put them together...it inspires me.
Love you lots.

You will most definitely be missed but I hope you enjoy your break away from blogland. I hope your craft fair goes well, your beautiful makes will fly off the tables I'm sure. I absolutely love the soft pale green and grey of your new fabrics - just gorgeous for Spring.
Happy WOYWW and I look forward to keeping up with your news on FB (or a chat if you fancy it) - your frienship through the desks has meant a lot to me and I hope you enjoy your new endeavours,
