A SPACE ODDITY....
That's because there's lots of oddities filling the space this week!! You can't say my life is boring......
I finished off the little Christmas trees that were in pieces last week....
I stuck on lots of raffle tickets ending in 5 and 0 for the bottle stall I'm running in aid of the RNLI on Friday evening at the Christmas fair......
...and made 15 little wellies to hang on the RNLI decorated Christmas tree that will be in the window of the pharmacy in town. I couldn't find felt so this foam made a good second option!
And then Julia came to stay! The weather was atrocious this morning so our planned visit to Ali had to be postponed...it brightened up later and we managed to fit in an hour's browsing in a funny little shop that I'd seen previously but not ventured inside:
It was idiosyncratic to say the least and some of the stock was ancient (!) but it was fun to have a poke around....
I just loved the labels on the drawers....
Odd eyes and noses anyone?! lol, that made us laugh!
These boxes reminded me of Ollivander's Wand shop in Harry Potter! I'd have loved to have had time for a more in-depth furtle. And then there was the range of vintage hat moulds on the top that you could hire out. Didn't expect to see that either!!
I feel some millinery making coming on :-D
And of course, it's been great to have my bestie staying....
Have a great week! xxx

Hi Jan, Love the Christmas Trees. Hope you have some sturdy boxes for all the raffle prizes. The RLNI boots are fab. Really love the shop. I could spend hours in a place like that.
Me thinks there's something stronger than tea or coffee in those mugs:) LOL

Hiya Jan, oh my, what an amazing shop! All those draws and boxes to investigate. And hat moulds! Never, ever seen them anywhere before. Reminds me of the sort of shops we had 40-50 years ago. Still giggling at the odd noses and eyes! Big hugs to you & Julia, Shaz XxXx #4

That shop looks incredible - like you could get lost in it! Glad you and Julia are having a great time, always good to be renewed with friendship! Those little trees are adorable! Hope everything goes well at the Christmas fair, have an awesome week, Lindart #22
Happy WOYWW and glad to see that you managed to venture out. It did clear up here yesterday afternoon - even blue sky - and I went out with Rich again to order some furniture we chose on Saturday (and we chose/ordered a new bed - which was exhausting trying out a lot of different mattresses!). Horrendous weather again today and almost dark outside at 4.15 pm. So looking forward to getting to Spain - 23 degrees in the sunshine there today. Where is that shop? Ali x #23

Hi Jan, oh wow, what a great shop to spend an hour or two in! All great photos, you must be very patient to label all those raffle prizes. Have a wonderful time with Julia, that's a great pic of you both. Hugs, Heather xx #8
Hi Jan, you've been busy, as usual! Love your dinky Christmas trees - beautifully made. The shop looks a real treasure trove and one I wouldn't mind spending an hour or three in. Lovely to see two of my favourite ladies together ... you planned the colour coordination for that shot I'm sure. Enjoy the rest of your time together ladies. Hugs, Elizabeth x #6

Thanks for your visit, Jan, and so glad you’re impressed with my flowers! I can do the big reveal until later this month, but I’m making good progress on the mystery project. Glad you two had so much fun together!
