SO LONG, FAREWELL, AUF WIEDERSEHEN, GOODBYE....

Well, for two weeks anyway! There's a lot going to be happening over the next fortnight and so I've decided to have a blogging break - the first for a while.

No fabric/yarn/card crafting again this week (sorry Steve!) but I have:

Created three raffle prizes for the WI Pudding Club event....

Made a Black Forest Gateau with cherry confit, chantilly cream and dark choc dipped Morello cherries on top....(for the Pudding Club again) and also

a Strawberry Pavlova. So, some cake crafting instead!

The new bathroom is finished so it was a case of massive tidying and cleaning in our bedroom and the JanCave! So, hoover-crafting....as opposed to hovercrafting, that's something else altogether, lol!!

And some walks along our beach with a high tide right up to the sand dunes. A gorgeous evening stroll.

Sorry about the lack of desk Julia, I'm hoping to get the JanCave up and running again very soon.

Enjoy your crafting everyone and I'll see you in a couple of weeks :-D xxxxxxxx

Happy WOYWW. Enjoy your time away and I look forward to hearing all about it (take lots of photos!). Haven't had breakfast yet, and now I want a Black Forest Gateau (my absolute all time favourite - although I have only ever had one from the frozen aisle in a supermarket). Your new bathroom looks like pure luxury. You must be so happy with it. Ali x #8

Kitchen crafting is a super good as paper and fabric, believe me! wonderful offerings for Pudding Club, I hope they give them a lot of appreciation! Love how you’ve wrapped the bottles, they are so difficult to make exciting. Reckon you’ve cracked it. The bathroom looks totes amazeballs.....bet you smile every time you go in there!

Loving the cake crafting and the new bathroom is gorgeous. Hope all goes well with setting up the Jan cave. You will be missed over the next two weeks but hoping whatever keeps you from us goes well.

Oooh, I LOVE your bathroom! The bathroom in our new appartment is big but has a very ugly tile-floor... Thanks for stopping by my blog and yes, chances are you get effected with the 'Sashiko' virus once you find out more about it... I'm hooked myself!!! This simple technique was used for repairing clothes and when you google 'jeans + sakisho' the most wonderful photo's appear... I plan to stitch my jeans jacket - although it doesn't need much 'repairing'... I might tore it up first ;) - that would be a nice 'winter-project' maybe. Enjoy your time off from the blog, big hug from HOlland, Marit #28

I’m ignoring the cake porn, drooling over the uber luxury bathroom and would have sea-envy but we are on the north east coast of Scotland with our motorhome and it’s hammering down with rain. Enjoy your bloggy break.

Oh Jan you will be missed, be sure to come back - only two weeks mind!
Love the cakes, I would not know which to fall face first into before the other. Both look utterly tempting and delicious. And the three raffle prizes have been wrapped so beautifully - you put me to shame - I cannot wrap things up nicely at all.
Do come back sooner than soon.
Hugs, Neet 5 xx
