COME BACK AND FINISH WHAT YOU STARTED....
Well, the doggy bandanas have gone down a storm with the woofers (and owners!) so it's a case of same old again this week...
...so much so that I had to buy some more Christmassy fabric! I tend to have mammoth cutting out sessions in the daylight and then sew like crazy when the lights are on (my machine is in the dining room as the conservatory is blooming freezing)
I chose fabrics with patterns that you can cut both both ways - yep, let's tessellate those bandana templates!!
I do like the stars and grey combo - very classy!!
And now that I've finished the beanie hat/greyhound snoods, I'm back to using up yarn for a crochet blanket...this is the TV watching project!
That's it for me this week, short and sweet. I don't know if any of the Crop attendees saw Julia's updated post on Monday, but I am doing the lunch again this time, so you don't have to bother bringing anything with you (unless you want to of course!). I am really looking forward to seeing everyone and catching up with all the news :-D
Have a good week!!

I was delighted we will get to have another Jan Lunch! I am really looking forward to it; as always. You are so good keeping busy in the evenings watching tv... I just sit there; lately snuggled in a blanket (not really necessary, but cosy!) the cards WILL just make themselves, won't they?? Helen #?
You are like a human whirlwind Jan, you're amazing.
Enjoy the crop. Wish I was nearer so I could join you all.

Hi Jan, I always have a sitting down project on the go too ... it's something to do with the devil making work for idle hands, I expect. The fabrics for the doggy bandanas is fab ... I have this vision of all the pups in your area getting together on their morning walks, strutting their stuff and showing off their latest neck accessory!
So wish I was near enough to join you all at the crop but as I can't I wish you all a great day.
Happy WOYWW. Have a wonderful week.
Hugs, Elizabeth x #12
Hi Jan, I am loving the Christmas fabrics. Your bandanas and wooly hats with matching snoods are very popular. Really can't thank you enough for being so kind.
Happy WOYWW

What a productive week you've had Jan. Love it all so much of mine is for Christmas gifts so I'm snapping as I go and might do a big show and tell after the big day lol.

A beautiful collection of fabrics Jan.
I love your colour combo for the crochet.

Fab fabrics. Lucky doggies :-) Love the colours of the yarn. I always have a project to do when sat watching telly. Cannot just sit!!! Anne x #14
Wonder if the Pooch Owners would like a matching bandana for themselves - so they are co-ordinated with their pooches. You could line them with a warm fabric and they would be like those triangular scarf thingies Jo used to knit - remember? Am sure if I had a pooch I would like one with a matching one for me. Especially instead of a Christmas Jumper.
Love that they have taken off with the Pooches (Woofers, sorry) and yes, the grey fabric and the starry one look good together.
Have a great week - any news on the moving front?
Hugs and Thanks for visiting me earlier, Neet 4 xx
Hi Jan. Gorgeous fabrics - what fun... tessellations!!! Oh my - you are doing lunch??? and me in a B&B where they serve cooked breakfasts??? I shall be putting back the weight I've lost recently... aw shucks! never mind.
Glad your service went well and timed ok. The soup is simmering as I write, so is beginning to smell good ready for lunchtime tomorrow.
Take care young lady.. cheeky as you are.
God bless.

Loving your fabrics! For someone who doesn't sew much - or not properly at any rate - I really-really-really love fabrics! Hope to see those new bandanas soon! Much as I like conservatories, they have the unfortunate tendency of being too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. My favourite time in the conservatory is springtime, while it's still cold outside, but the sun makes them nice and warm inside. Crocheting in front of the telly sounds cushy. Enjoy your week, Jan! zsuzsa #28
Happy WOYWW. I am also a fabric addict - but do not sew at all now (btw - my bundle of fabric has gone to a lady who makes clothing/toys for children in hospital), and after my recent declutter I now have an almost empty cupboard that used to have my sewing stash in. More room to get the papercrafting stash organised. Ali x #31
I am going to be looking out for doggies wearing bandanas now! The fabrics look great! So looking forward to the crop, especially now you are cooking lunch! Hugs, Chrisx32
I hope you take lots of pictures at the get-together to share with those of us who will only be there in spirit. I would come just for the lunch lol but I think hubby wouldn't be happy if I sprung for the plane ticket just to go to lunch.
Love all the colours in your post. You always have some lovely bits to show.
Happy WOYWW

Brilliant Bandanas, and goody - more of your gorgeous grub!!!! Heheheheh.
Hope you're having a fab time even if it's frenetic and frantic and full of.... packing. Saw your earlier post, so I'm glad I can be excited for you on the outside as well as in. Can't wait to see pics of your new house, can wait even less to see the inside for real one day.... :-D

Hiya Jan, glorious colours in those fabrics. I got chatting to Erika on FB, and she's actually local to you, in Andover. I was surprised when I found out she knew Julia, and used to live by her. What a small world we WOYWWers inhabit! Well, I'm happily glowing in the dark again, lol, or I should be by now. Hadn't spotted Julia's post, so glad you mentioned it. See you soon, Huge hugs to you all, Shaz xxxx
Such a lot of wonderful bits you managed to cram into this very short post... Loving all that vibrantly coloured cloth; I too love to crochet, especially as it allows you to watch lots of telly without feeling like you should be doing something! Grin and OOOOOOH how I wish I could just twinkle my nose and pop over the ocean to enjoy the lunch you are going to create for all those lucky peopel who can attend a WOYWW play day! Thanks for the visit and lovely comment you left me earlier and Happy WOYWW from Lynne in Canada #2
I know of a few pooches who would love those bandanas! The fabrics are awesome! Have fun at the lunch - I'm sure everyone will love what you make (wish I was there too!) Thanks for sharing! Lindart #41
Well I will look forward to pictures from the crop for sure! This Christmas fabric just makes me happy to look at it. My blog is short and sweet too--I could barely get any kind of a decent photo in my hurry this morning. I hope this weekend is a little less hectic. Hugs to you soul sister! Happy Wednesday! Such fun fabrics! I tried a bandanna on Dakota once...and the groomer tried bows by her ears..../shake head...
Exciting news on your new home; I don't doubt you and Julia will manage many visits! Have a great week.
Those fabrics are great! Love the print and color combos! Hope you have oodles of fun at your crop!

Hello LLJ,
The Christmas fabrics are great. I'm not surprised that the doggie bandanas are a hit - us animal lovers will do just about anything (and buy) for our pets! I'm thinking Katie is deaf so I'm going to put a bell on her so I know where she is in the house. Also, the backyard is pitch black so since she's primarily black it has become an issue.
I didn't read about your new home..... maybe it's in a different post. I have to check it out. It's been one week since I moved into my new digs - am so happy to have a real craft room.
Wish I was coming to the Crop. It's on my bucket list.....
Happy WOYWW
Hugs,
Kay (33)
Love those fabrics! Wish my doggers would wear bandanas... I'd order three in extra large, one for each! ❤️ Have a great week! ~Heather~ #47
I wonder how many you'll have made by the time you call it quits! save something to do at crop! Xxx
The Christmas fabrics are so vibrant and full of life. You should have your woofers post pictures!
Enjoy your crop!
