WOYWW 209

IT'S FRIENDSHIP, FRIENDSHIP,
JUST A PERFECT LITTLE BLENDSHIP,
WHEN OTHER FRIENDSHIPS HAVE BEEN FORGOT,
OURS WILL STILL BE HOT...
(Ray Charles)

What a week! Firstly the WOYWW 4th Bloggaversary, then the CROP2..I don't know about you, but I'm shattered.. I've had to go back to work for a rest ;-)

First, the Desk and then some Thank You's!

Bunting!! Woohoo - I haven't made any for ages and I love it :-)  However, the reason that I am showing you is just to highlight my stupidity...sigh...again...
You see, the moral of the story is not to promise to swap more ATCs than you actually have....cough.... so this bunting is by way of an apology. It's amazing how ATC-like it does look!! Not..

Cor - look at all those juicy colours......

OK, my ATCs were like this. Now, be kind, this was my first (and only!) attempt at stamping. Thank you Julia, for letting me run amok in your craft room!

I worked on the KISS principle - Keep It Simple Stupid!! Story of my life......
But I got some awesomely creative ones in return! Thanks so much Guys!

From Shaz Silverwolf, Kyla, Zoe and JoZart..

Sue H, Janet (Fairythoughts), Doone, Helen and Twiglet...

Julie Ann Lee, Hettie, Bleubeard & Elizabeth, Wipso, Cardarian...
What a beautiful selection..thank you all very much :-)

Sue H and I did a crafty swap recently..these are some of the cards she made me...

                     Gorgeous, aren't they?

A beautiful Thank You card from Debs, ATCs from Sandra De (that made me giggle!) and Lisa Craft Garden and the most gorgeous scissors keeper from Janet (Fairythoughts)

Sue H also sent me this cross stitch - it made me laugh sooooo much..it says Bad Hare Day! I have a bit of a thing about hares..this one looks like me if I have to get up too early! He's definitely going on the wall above my crafting desk, lolol!

And finally, Sam (Hettie) presented me with this beautiful little album..it is soooo gorgeous. Photos don't do it justice...
Smiley, happy colours.... I love it!!
So, after a wonderful weekend, this is what we've ended up with to send to the Women's Refuge...four quilts, a whole pile of toiletries and £150 raised at the Crop.  THANK YOU :-)

Have a great week!

Another well done on getting that lovely stash of goodies together for the women's refuge, everyone's hard work will be greatly appreciated l'm sure. There's so many needy causes out there isn't there? It's a good job there are people like you in this world to donate their time and effort :)

This is gorgeous stuff! The fundraising is just amazing too. And I LOVE that cross-stitch (said the life-long cross-stitch-aholic), and I'm very proud to tell you, dear soul sister, that I used "sticky-beak" in my post today. No one has mentioned it so far! Your post today makes me happy, which I need, because although I just went to the dentist for a checkup, last night I noticed something strange happening to my tooth with the crown and really stressed out about it, because I'm envisioning that horrible visit to the dentist--ugh! So glad it's WOYWW, because all the desks cheer me up. Hugs dearest. Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #100

You’ve certainly a lovely collection of ATC’s there Jan and everyone is so different. It’s great seeing all the artistic talent out there isn’t it. The ones that you made are great too.
I can’t say I’ve heard of the ‘KISS’ principle but maybe it’s something I should try to get my mojo back in some shape or form.
And your table is looking as bright and cheery as always with that lovely bunting.

Have a great week and……..
Happy Crafting!

No mate...thank you. I can't tell enough people that Saturday and last October were entirely your doing...I'm being credited for organising that I just didn't do. I just went to the station a couple of times and made some cuppas. And because of the Silverwolfs, I didn't even put a chair or a table away. More beautiful photos on your post again. And this time, I don't wish to have the power to edit!!

I hope you have managed to put your feet up just a bit this week and enjoyed this lovely sunshine. Don't forget to sit back and smell the roses sometimes!!!
Mr Craft Garden thanks you for the birthday wishes, he says he is in good company as we read in the paper that it's Johnny Depp's 50th on the 9th!!!!

What a wonderful result from the crop for those in need. Well done, Jan!! And, oh my, but don't you have a very nice first stamping attempt (are you hopelessly addicted then, like the rest of us??) with your ATC and THE most stunning array of giftee ATCs from others! You'll need a trophy case just for the display. Everyone is raving about you and the job you did - not surprising! I SO wish I could have been there!!

Enjoy the rest of the week! I'm just popping in to visit this week, so no no. for me. xxoo Darnell

Hi Jan, yes the moulds are indeed re-usable- hopefully they will stay that way for a long time. What do you want me to make the pendant & heart from- I can do it in Fimo( oven bake clay), or from Shrink plastic. They will still be light, but the sword should look more realistic. And there's no charge- this is the fun bit, finding out what I can do with it, lol! Hugs, Shaz xx
