WOYWW 160

TIME KEEPS ON SLIPPING, SLIPPING,
INTO THE FUTURE....

Well, who'd a thought it, eh?? One whole year of blogging and I'm still not bored! It has been a voyage of discovery for me - mainly how many amazing people are out there, when all we hear on the news is the bad stuff. It has been wonderful to have been on the receiving end of friendship, joy, support (oh, boy did I need THAT recently...) but most of all, FUN and the sheer enjoyment of creating. This sums it all up for me....
We had such fun - thank you Di, Elizabeth, Alan for coming to see Julia, myself and Gordon. It was a day of laughter and chatting....oh, and a little bit of shopping too! Doesn't get much better than that :D  Elizabeth had made beautiful albums for us...

This is mine - isn't it gorgeous? It's so detailed - I wouldn't know where to start!! Thank you, Elizabeth, I love it.
I made something small for the ladies as well...
Bling Bins!! I know that crafters find these little hanging bins handy, but I used some of my extra special trimmings...

I bought these from an Indian lady at Ally Pally at least three years ago and have never brought myself to use them...until now :) I think the bling adds a certain jazziness, even though I say so myself!
OK, in honour of my 1st Bloggaversary, I'm going to hold a giveaway, the prize being a Bling Bin. But the eventual winner will have a choice of fabrics and blings! If you would like to enter, please indicate your preference for both!
                                                          BUBBLES

                                                        DRAGONFLY

                                                         SPOTS/DAISIES
and....
from top downwards: PEARLS: PINKS: ORANGE/TEAL: MULTI.
So, if you fancy the top fabric with the third row of bling, just indicate BUBBLES/ ORANGE & TEAL on your comment. I don't mean this to be complicated, it's just that the winner gets the colours that they prefer *grin*
It'll be interesting to see everyone's colour preferences!
Please can I just add that this giveaway does extend to those overseas, but I would ask that I send the bean bag part out empty for you to fill yourself and slipstitch shut, otherwise the postage will cost an arm and a leg!!

Thank you again for the wonderful camaraderie over the year and to Julia especially, for getting me started and for being an awesome mate.
From L - R:  Elizabeth Silverscrapper, LLJ, Julia Dunnit, Di (Pixie's Crafty Workshop)

Hi LLJ
I always enjoy your posts, this blogging thing is a lot of fun, even if it keeps me up to the earky hours when I really should be in bed.
It looks like you all had a blast, what a bevey of blogging beauties!
Love the bins, it is hard to choose but for me it would have to be bubbles and pearls.
who know what time Julia will post today, so I'm off to bed and will link in the morning and catch up after work

Hi Jan, couldn't have said it better myself. Alan and I had the most fun time too ... love the photo of us altogether at the table. My bling bin now has pride of place on my table - it's beautiful and I am so honoured that you took the scissors to your treasured trim. Glad you like the album. I can still remember your first tentative blogging posts and here you are celebrating a year - congratulations my friend, and long may you continue :) Happy WOYWW and have a great week. Elizabeth xx

I love the WOYWW get together photos, good friends, good times. I've loved all your posts and your wicked sense of humour and just wish you'd started earlier so we could have been blogging buddies earlier! Beautiful little bling bins but lord I've never had to work so hard to win something lol! I think for me it's the dots/daisies and pinks that float my boat. Looking forward to the next year.

Happy One Year anniversary! I haven't been at it a year yet myself but I too, wondered if I would just taper off, but I find myself thinking of my blog and what to put on it all the time (like in a good way, not like a burden!). I understand what you are saying about it. How fun to have gotten the chance to meet and hang out with some fellow WOYWW folks. I love Elizabeth's albums. I saw the one Di got too. Beautiful. I love the bling bins. They are such a clever idea. I can see them being useful to drop your scissors or tape roller dispenser into when your desk was really messy so you wouldn't lose them in the piles (not that anyone has a messy desk, mind you). If I'm the lucky winner I would love the dragonfly fabric with the multi beads. Such a generous offer! Happy day to you!
