SEE HOW THE COLOURS SHINE....
Hi there lovely Deskers, good to link up with you all! I do enjoy Wednesdays so very much, it's always inspiring.
It's a very quick show and tell today, I haven't done that much sewing this week as I was waiting on a delivery. I had a lot of fun spending my birthday vouchers from Doughty's Online and the order came yesterday!
Ooh, there's some bright, in your face colours there!! I also got some more wooden hangers for peg bags.
These are digital prints from Fabric Freedom - I chose these as you could pretty much use any colour lining.
Slightly paler but no less pretty! I could have picked a whole heap more from the choice available - I was quite restrained (for once, lol!)
The other purchase was from our Ali Wade - I saw she'd advertised a couple of things on FB and I really liked this caddy:
A pretty way to keep all my tools handy - thanks Ali. it'll be used every day!
And that's it, I'm out again today so I may be late commenting but look forward to visiting your desks when I can.
Have a good day! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

those are some incredibly bright colors. They are beautiful and will go well with many linings. I love the peacock feathers. I would love that fabric for myself. Not that I would use it to make anything that required a pattern! Have a lovely day out, Jan. Happy WOYWW from # 7.
gorgeous new fabrics and the caddy from Ali looks so useful! Happy WOYWW Helen #8 (I saw the early publish but had already scheduled and decided to leave it!)
Oo I love the digital prints Jan - you will have fun mixing an matching with that lot. The little hold all carrier is perfect for all your tools - so cheery too. Can you recommend some good tassel twizzling music!!!! X x Jo
Hope your day aout is as enjoyable as looking at your fabric was/is.
My words, there are some bright colours there and they are lovely - can imagine them made up as you do with linings that work and the RNLI being a colourful place to shop.
Stay safe and well

You are so right, it's certainly inspiring visiting your desk. All those gorgerous patterns and colour, I need to learn from it. Wishing you a very happy and productive woyww, Angela x14x
I hope you're having a fun day out, specially as the weather appears to be good! LOVE those digi prints, aren't the colours amazing. And then, I equally love the softer prints, isn't the daisy pretty. I absolutely could not live in a creamy white world! Good score from Ali's stash, makes it ever so useful if you need to cart stuff downstairs etc, as well as being tidy in situ!
Oh my but your desk this week just make my eyes smile! SO beautiful and full of colour. Love it. And what a sweet caddy! I thought you might deconstruct it and make some more. I'd have a flowery one... :P
Have a happy WOYWW!

Happy WOYWW. Those fabrics are all glorious. I love all the colours and designs. Sometimes I feel like starting to sew bags again, just to be able to collect fabrics - but then I come to my senses! So glad the caddy is working out for you. I will feature my very over-stuffed one in a future blog. Ali x #20

Your fabrics make my heart sind Jan as does that caddy....might design one of those as I'm sure it would tidy up a lot.
I've been making hair scrunchies this morning [once I got them right...it pays to watch the video first!!]. Dod helped by threading through the elastics and betweek us we made 32!!...day well spent I say.

Your desk is always such a riot of colour!! I would find it hard to choose between any of those fabrics they are all so lush. The caddy is cute - I would still overfill it and never be able to find anything!! Have a wonderful week, love n hugs Cindyxx #16
Happy belated birthday! You chose some fabulous fabrics! And the tote bag is very cute, I have one similar but in very boring black! Have a great week, Lindart #21
Oh I can totally see why that caddy caught your fancy, I love it. So too the heart and butterfly rainbows. And yes the new wooden coat hangers are just the job to finish off your peg bags, super job all round. Knew you'd be pleased to hear about the harp, my fingers aren't so pleased, they need hardening up again! Hugs BJ#12
