I'M IN PIECES, BITS AND PIECES...

Thank you to all the lovely people who entered my giveaway last week - in the end I made four wallets, you know, something to do when it was lashing down with rain and stash busting too, lol! Anyway the Fab Four are:

        SooJay, Neet, Margaret and Twiglet

I hope you find them useful, you lovely ladies!

The other three to add to last week's.

That was fun so I'm going to do another this giveaway this week.

Another foray into the fabric stash revealed a lovely stripey beachy sorta result, team it with a navy blue and white spot and you get.....

Just a big ol' useful tote - nowt fancy but you can put allsorts in it (and wash it at 40 too)  So feel free to enter and I'll announce the results next week - it's good to do a PiF and reduce stash at the same time, win-win!

And that's about it for now craftwise - though I did a watercolour doodle card for my bro and SiL's anniversary but forgot to take a pic - doh!

These have been keeping me out of mischief - Jigsaws - I'm a fiend and once one is out on the table, I can't leave them alone. I ordered a couple and so did G so I've been having a lot of fun.

Sitting in the cool breeze by the patio door, cuppa to hand, it doesn't take much to make me happy!

Knitting, wool and lots of colour in jigsaw form - happy days!!

I hope you all have a happy crafty week, lots of love xxxxx

Well done to the fabulous four lucky winners, you are so kind Jan. I have enough handbags to keep me going for a year with a different one each day (nearly) so I won't enter for this week's draw either but someone will be very lucky again. If you were to do a mask give away...Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #?

Congratulations to the 'fab four' on their wins. Just purchased my summer tote bag but hey another wouldn't go amiss cheeeky aren't I?
Jigsaws - no more for a while especially after the peanut butter one I purchased from the charity shop and to add to its difficulty pieces were missing. Have a good week. Ani

Morning Jan. Oh wow - thank you so much! I will really enjoy placing my meagre amount of jewellery in that gorgeous case! I hope someone enjoys owning the lovely bag you have now made - but it won't be me, as I shan't enter again :-)
Great jigsaws!!! Love 'em. I usually have one on the go in the winter - but haven't got them out at the moment - a bit hot to sit huddled over the board in the evenings!
Take care, lovely girl. Stay safe the pair of you. God bless.

Hi Jan, I'd love to be with a chance to get the tote bag.

The jigsaw will keep you both out of mischief for a while:) The other jigsaw needs gluing together and putting in your craft room.

Happy WOYWW

Lucky jewellery case winners! Jan made one for me some time ago - they’re beautiful!
I can’t resist joining in for the tote though, it looks great, so please add me into the draw.
Have a great week, all. Love Lynne

Ah Jan - what a treasure you are - thanks lots. I will love using it and although I don't exactly have the crown jewels it will be nice to keep all my special bits in one place. The bag is lovely but don't put me in the draw this time. Well done with the jig-saws - I love doing them but haven't needed them just yet. I found a pile of books to read so have been dipping into those at any spare moment. Enjoy this lovely weather. xxx Jo

Congratulations to the very lucky winners of the beautiful jewellery rolls. I’ve been making totes this week too, Jan, and using up stash. I am a jigsaw fan too-it’s a pity we live so far from each other or we could swap! Happy crafting. Catriona

Those Japanese fabrics are so rich aren’t they, perfect for jewellery rolls, bet your winners are really chuffed. Love the tote, looks like all the best beach deckchairs you ever sat on!! Happy jigsaws I love the one of the wool shop, it looks just like the scene that greeted us when we went to your now wool shop of choice! Happy days.

Ohh wow - you have no idea how excited I am . The material is just SO pretty. Thank you SO much. I still have the tote i bought from you and its one of my fav pieces to carry when i am trudging my stash about - you may have noticed it in the craft room at the moment housing some of my stamps until i can fine a better home ( or win the lottery and move to a bigger house!).
The tote bag is gorgeous - i love those colours together. I MAY have to unbox my sewing machine as we have new neigbours ( we are semi detached) and they seem to spend an awful lot of time at the bar they have built at the end of their garden, so i need to make some curtains for our kitchen as they can see right in and pre made ones are too long - its been a while since i made curtains -eek, can't remember the last time i used the machine.
Have a great week and thanks again for my win xxx Soojay xx

Oh super jigsaws, where did you get those, not seen the designs before on my jigsaw forays. Love lots of colours too. I've been up the loft and sorted out 3 to redo. Piled the ones with pieces missing separately. I did ask one charity shop a while back about taking ones with pieces missing (especially as it was THAT particular shop I got one of them from) but they said NO.

Love the tote bag super smart, could you pop me in the mix please.
Thanks for the visit too BJ#15

Well done to the lucky winners this week. Please count me in the draw for this week...a girl can never have too many bags [esp if it's made by a special friend]. I love your jigsaws....just the sort I love to make with lots of busy colours in every corner.
Have a great week.
Hugs,

A big congratulation to your winners for last weeks give away. Marvellous.
I think I would like to be in this Give away this time. That tote bag looks just perfect!

Sometimes when I make art/cards/other activity I forget to take a photo of it as well. I guess that is "normal" these days, hehe

Thank you so much for sharing!

I am sure the lucky 4 a very happy with their fab wallets. Now that "big l'useful tote" looks stunning. Your colour combos are always spot on. Enjoy your jigsaw.... it is certainly a pastime that gets the whole family to have a go and that is what we like. .... except when it's the cat stealing pieces. Have a lovely creative week.

Oooh, giveaway! Those fabrics look marvellous and they're in the perfect hands with you - fantastic makes! I don't know what it is that's so satisfying about jigsaw puzzles but I'm a big fan too! I love that harbour scene - looks like just the right level of challenging without being frustrating - that's the key when it comes to jigsaws! Have fun completing it, Jan, and happy WOYWW! xx zsuzsa #24

Congratulations to your winners . . . super 'prize' this week as well. I still use the bag you made for me ? years ago!!
I'm sorry I didn't reply to your comment, been outside most of the week.
I would love the dachshund dog material for a mask please . . . SIL is a volunteer Restaurant Manager with the Gwylli? Railway (not far from Carmarthen) it would be so useful for her when it all opens again. Love the jigsaws, we always left one out on the table when the children were small . . .irrestible!

Ooh Jan I bet the winners are thrilled. I would love to be entered this week if you don't mind - I would love another tote as I get so many compliments on the beautiful nature themed one you made me a few years ago - remember that gorgeous fabric - it goes shopping with me, to my craft class and book club and even on a picnic once! I love your jigsaw of the wool shop - just perfect for you!
Have a lovely week,
Hugs, Diana xx #16

Ooh yes please do put me in the draw, a snazzy tote is always useful. We 've been doing jigsaws as well but for the moment I'd rather be outside - especially as I've managed to get my iPad working with wifi outside. Gentle breeze, in the shade, kitchen for refreshments at my back and a lovely view in front. Heaven. Well, apart from the car alarm that is now going off and hubby hammering. It was heaven!! Stay safe, stay well, happy WOYWW, Cindy #11

You are so kind and I think that bag would be very useful. I think if I won it I would give it to my mum for her birthday which is next week, she will be 92. She might just keep her odds and ends together in one place! So please put me in your the draw. Loving the jigsaws too. Have a lovely and creative woyww, Angela x19x

Well, you already know that I was surprised just now (after lunch) with the gorgeous jewellery roll that appeared behind my door today, Long story folk but i had a busy morning, was making 'disaster scones' again and asked if the post had been and was given a beautifully wrapped jewellery roll. I had won. So pleased and in a lovely `purple Japanese fabric too.
So big big THANK YOU's to you Jan, I am ecstatic! I never win, my bff always does so thankfully she doesn't blog.
Lovely thought to make more and gift them too Jan, but that is you, such a generous and lovely lady.
Good luck to the others who are in for the tote draw this week.
Love the jigsaws you have been buying, especially the wool shop one although the seaside one reminds me of somewhere I long to be. Just a bit of seabreeze would be lovely right now. Hope you and the family are still enjoying your walks along the gorgeous beaches you have, and hope they don't get too busy with others after next week.
Hugs and Thanks again

Wow I missed your give away last week. Congrats to the winners. I won't submit my name for this week's giveaway for it because it's too expensive to ship to the states. But a lovely tote indeed. Great progress on that puzzle. Right now there is a lovely breeze on my desk and I plan to read my books whit a cup of tea and that just makes me really happy so I get it. A few moments ago I saw the most gorgeous finch in my yard and of course no phone or camera on hand. I will be ready for him when he returns. Stay well, my friend!

Oh goodness that puzzle is so you!! I totally forgot to message you about the Christmas stuff last week - how about making fabric binder covers? Bella made one for an a4 folder and it looks wonderful and it made me think of making one for my 6x8 album, except that I am inept and we can't get any of the 3 sewing machines going (probably user error, all three went while trying to make bunting and ear savers) but I am unable to get someone to help with the restrictions at the moment. Hopefully I'll be over your way in a couple of weeks!! Have a great week, Lisa-Jane #14

Congrats, ladies, on the win and for the next 4!

Any way, great looking tote and new wallets!
I remember my mom doing jigsaw puzzles up until a couple years before she passed. I would help her occasionally.
Thanks for popping by and have a wonderful week!

Lovely projects for your winners, Jan! I love the knitting jigsaw too, so full of colour and interest. I bet it was hard to do, though! I haven't got the patience for jigsaws.

Thank you for your lovely comment - I couldn't possibly give up on the cardigan after all the time and effort that's gone into it, and also I hate wasting materials! Once I've got it right, it can be worn, and that's the whole point, so I don't really mind the amount of fiddling around to get it done, but after the 3rd attempt, I must admit to being keen to get onto the next UFO and hope it isn't so intractable!

Happy WOYWW,
Shoshi x #26

Hi Jan, ah that's lovely of you, making extra jewellery rolls. Congrats to the lucky winners. The tote bag looks lovely too - perfect for a trip to the beach when restrictions let me take my grandchildren out in the car! I really should finish the jigsaw I started about 6 years ago - before I lose any of the pieces. At first glance I thought your jigsaw was a crop photo - ladies crafting, cakes on the table, cups of tea and lots of chatting. Oooh a big birthday - 21 again? Have a lovely week and stay safe and well, hugs Heather xx #4

Every time I see a jigsaw on someones table I think "I should pull mine out of the closet"... so tempting (but I seem to forget as soon as I walk out of my atelier...) I still have the spectacle-bag (what's the proper name again?) you send me, it lives in my handbag and hold my sunglasses (at the moment. In winter, I stash my reading glasses in it.) The big tote is lovely too and if it's not too much of a problem to send it to Holland if I win, I would love to be in the draw. Thanks for visiting my blog earlier this week, sorry I'm late with my visit back to your blog but finally time fell into place with my mind, yay! Have a great weekend, hug from Holland. Marit #28

Hi Jan! I love the knitting puzzle-it reminds me of The Friday Night Knitting Club, a book I read a couple of months ago that I really liked! Such a cozy feeling! Beautiful stripy bag, but I can't join the giveaway, it would cost too much to send it to me! I can just picture you working on your puzzles, enjoying the sun and the breeze, sounds wonderful to me. We started a puzzle at Christmas, we haven't touched it since. When hubby gets out of hospital I should bring it out again! Thanks for your visit and your kind words re my journal! Have a great week, Lindart #29

Congrats for the winners, lovely wallets. Love the jigsaws, my mother in law does them but we found out a 750 piece is ideal as 1000 doesnt fit on their little bungalow table-oops! Hope you have been able to get out and about and at least with the 5 mile rule in Wales you were hopefully spared the scenes of WSM!
