And I do!  It amazes me that lovely deskers are willing to drive such long distances to come and eat cake and chat basically!  It was so lovely to meet a few new faces as well as welcoming old favourites :-D

The whole day was wonderful - it was great catching up with everyone. Especial welcome to Kathy K, Margaret (Glitter and Glue) and Erika whose first meeting it was. There are a whole load more pics on my previous post...click here if you want to see them.

Because such a lot of time was taken up cooking (!) I haven't been that prolific when it comes to crafting.  I needed to make one more doggy bandana for Reg, a labrador:

And so you find me cutting out yet more Christmassy fabric.  There's a mug of ginger tea, my mobile cos I'd just texted a friend and the feather stamped images that Helen did for me at the Crop.  My sewing machine had been dumped there because I had to clear the dining room table in order to feed my guests!

I wonder if Reg will like this combo?! Lol.

I'm constructing a grotto today in the school where I used to work and decided to run up a quick string of bunting...

I'm just cutting the triangles out with pinking shears and am not going to line them - it's just to hang up in the room where Santa and his Elf helper will see the little ones. That's a quick job to do this morning before I head off.

Margaret (Glitter and Glue) came for tea on Friday evening and brought me this gorgeous little cottage with a battery tea light inside - it's so sweet!

I haven't fixed the ridge tiles back down but you get the idea - thanks Margaret, I love it!

Hope you're all keeping safe and warm in this very chilly snap, it was -5 this morning!
Have a great week :-D xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Don't know what is happening this morning. I had almost finished my comment when my screen did a dance and everything went - kaboosh!
Love the fabrics you have on here, especially the starry one for the doggy bandana. Then as I scrolled down I was in love with the bunting fabric.
The fabrics I have bought because I love them are to be taken out and looked at and then put back. I wish I could enjoy sewing like you do.
I might even send you the two pieces I wanted a tote bag making from when you have moved and settled with all the jobs you have lined up - yes, I found it a couple of months ago and think I know where it is now. What a dope I am!
Take care, rest when you can you are so busy.
Hugs, Neet xx

I bet Reg will look supercool in his polka dotted bandana! I've been playing with the idea of making bunting - I even bought some fabric! I figure surely I could sew in a relatively straight fashion, LOL! That little paper house is adorable and I so enjoy seeing everyone in the photo. I recognize a few people now, though I've discovered some new faces as well! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #22

What a fab photo of the crop - it looks like you had a great time as I just looked through your last post too. I love the little house from Margaret - isn't she a clever lady.
Moving day must be getting closer for you, is it going to clash with Christmas or are you all under control? Hope you are panic free and not working yourself too hard!
Have a great week,

Oh my! That little cottage is sooo cute. And how I love seeing the gorgeous, creative, crafty faces of WOYWWers! I'm sure I'm not the only U.S. WOYWWer that always wishes I could meet and craft with everyone, just for an afternoon of crafty bliss. Sigh. But at least I can visit the village this way. Your fabric choices always inspire me! I'm glad you got some sewing time in. Although the cooking was extremely important, and I'm sure made all that crafting even more energetic. When my daughter is filming, like her webseries on YouTube (Backstage Webseries), I have cooked many a meal for the cast and crew during their filming days--very important job! Ooh...I mentioned your name in my blog today (tee hee!) Hugs from way far away soul sister. Happy Wednesday. Sandy Leigh #38

Thank you for your kind words last week. I am enjoying my late visits and I love the little house, bet those twinkling lights make it lived in. Great photo of fellow deskers. I wish you were all in the US or I was where you are for a week or so. It's a good group this WOYWW group. Enjoy

THANK YOU FOR BEING A FRIEND... I've used this lyric before but make no apology for a repeat performance this week - thank goodness for...
