YOU GOT ME RUNNING, GOIN' OUT OF MY MIND,
YOU GOT ME THINKING THAT I'M WASTING MY TIME...
(Electric Light Orchestra - listen here....)

Hello there! I am cheating (gasp, horror...) by showing you a few items I've made over the past two weeks in a scheduled post. Tsk tsk, Promise to try harder next week. But there are extenuating circumstances..I was really poorly last week with a heavy cold, chesty whatsit and then have been down in Wales with my Big Bro clearing out my dad's old bungalow.

Am I forgiven ??

Making a hanging bling bin for someone who doesn't know she's getting it! I hadn't made one of these for ages....

Bling attaching...my favourite part :-)

I've been hooking another cowl for a friend...she's donating some money and toiletries for the refuge.

I dug out some Christmas Stockings from last year to add to the pile of bits and pieces that I'm sending to Karen (Furry Monkey) for her animal charities. These could be filled with doggy treats for under the tree!

Couldn't keep the bunting away for long! I am really enjoying doing this embellished style and it's using up loadsa scraps........

And finally.....

Some more cards for the Refuge. This time from CraftyGasHeadZo....thanks a million, Zoe. As ever your colouring is astonishing and really pretty indeed. I truly appreciate your thoughtfulness.

OK, sorry about this cobbled together post...normal service will be resumed next week.  Normal? Hah - chance would be a fine thing :-)

Hope you're feeling better and you didn't play with your brass instrument with all that snot around (eww). Lovin the bling bin, who doesn't love bling?? Zoe is so talented, those cards are beautiful and I'm sure the doggies will love their stockings. Would you believe I had to explain what bunting is to my 12 year old little miss, they just call them flags over here.
Have a great week.

Hope things return to normal (whatever that is) soon. Love bling and good to see it is being spread around. I hope you are not planning on moving house in the next 60-90 days as I have sent you something by sea mail. I know... I am such a cheapskate at times but I felt I had to take a stand against our outrageous postal costs. So once the item has finished its ocean cruise it will arrive in the UK. Hope you enjoy.

Hi Jan, sorry you've been poorly= there seams to be something nasty going round already! Love your bling bin and you're using such gorgeous fabric again - where do you buy it (if I may be so rude!)

I've got to remember to wear gloves today (NOT my usual method!) but Mr M and I are off to a charity do on Friday and I need to look half decent.

Thanks for your visit. Have a good week. MMx #48

You have had one busy week, Jan. No wonder you managed a cold!! Trust the house clearing went OK, and wasn't too traumatic. Having done the same recently, I know it can be a huge mix of emotions. Love the "bling bin" - someone is really going to enjoy receiving that fun item. Well done with everything else. So many things coming in for your refuge - that's great.
Have a good week.

You don't even have to do anything wrong and I'd forgive you! And you do cobbling so well too! Lovely post, lots going on, hope the bungalow gets sorted and that your cold has gone (so that's where I got mine from!!). Lovely cards from Zoe, her colouring is spot on. Gotta have a bit of bling! I was thinking yesterday that what I was doing would be great for kids to do too!

As usual, you are fabulous and have fabulous things on your desk! I absolutely love the idea of the hanging bin with bling on it!! Your cards are precious, and I'm always happy to see the bunting. I am trying to make tiny bunting for my dollhouse re-do. I decided I even want little flags and bunting on the front of it, so I'm making everything! Hugs dearest! Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #88

Me again! You must have been commenting at the same time I was! Anyhoo--the price of dollhouse items really varies here in the U.S. You can certainly get expensive things--but a lot of the dollhouse furnishings and things at Michaels and Hobby Lobby do not cost that much...it's often on sale for 40% off...and if you want something really expensive, you can just use your coupon. Also, my other trick is to buy Christmas ornaments that look like dollhouse items. I've gotten little blingy chairs, a toaster, a blender, a little cuckoo clock and even a chandelier that were actually ornaments! Christmas stuff is out now so that's the first place I'm looking this week for more dollhouse goodies! That's my favorite trick. Hugs!

Sorry to hear you were ill, hope you are all better now!
Love all your makes but especially the bling bin, it looks tricky to sew that bling on, that would be the part I would dread!
Zoe's cards are beautiful, glad you are getting a good response so far!
Have a great week! Debxx

Hi there LLJ,
Yes, I am getting organized! Woo hoo. I am being careful to not start throwing things back in the closet - oh, but the living room.....

Love the bling bag! The crochet cowl looks great too. I've started a cowl also but can't share it just yet.

I'm doing o.k. Trying to get on with things that I enjoy.
Thanks for visiting me!!!

Sorry to learn you are not so well, the EM says he's sorry to hear it too ... we both hope you recover soon and are back to your normal cheery self in no time. As usual you have, or have had, lovely projects on the go and, as usual, I have a yen for your pretty bling :)

Yes, we are on the move, for reasons of old age and decrepitude ... well, arthur-itis actually. We've both got it, even the cat has it now, and it's proving to be a bit of a problem on flights of steps and the garden here has a fair few of those, so time for a change and a garden on the one level. Sad, we've loved living here, but I'm sure we will be equally happy in our new home. In the meantime, I hate packing but I'm sure I'll survive :)

Take care, keep warm, a hot toddy might help too :) Hugs, Elizabeth xx
