STILL GOT THE BLUES FOR YOU...

Believe it or not, I'm feeling much better after The Plague!  I've been out walking, seeing folk and generally being outside the house, hooray, it took a while but we're getting there.

Consequently, I've done quite a bit more sewing as I've committed to doing a few fairs as well as supplying the Harbour Lights - I still can't get over the amount from the collection tin last week, £516, the best yet!

I knew putting the bed in the JanCave was a bad idea, it's become an extra work surface:

It's just too handy to chuck things onto!

Parts for bags, wrist straps, finished key fobs, finished items, kitchen sink etc.

I'm obsessed with making these, hope I sell some now!

Hence why there's a pile of interfacing strips on the desk - I even put in a new rotary cutter blade!

My sister in law Jill is a wonderful quilter and made this hanging:

Isn't it marvellous? I love the texture of the hills and the water and the way the swans look as if they're in the water rather than on top of it, she's a clever lass!

Hope you've had a good week - may all your crafting go well xxx

Loving the wrist straps. Great idea - I hate hacing to drag along a bag wheb out walking for example, You just need to add a little sleeve to keep your ID and a credit card! Missed out last week due to endless appointments and scans and family chaos, so had to slip back and see your mellow yellow goodies. What great sunny fabric. Love it.
Hoping for a better desk-hop day this week!

I’m chuckling at your bed being covered with stuff Jan. Last week I roared at hubby that he had destroyed my beautiful guest bedroom by piling all his stuff in there. He’s even taken over the wardrobe. When I came home he’d cleared it all up. Must be the Leo in me haha

Glad you are feeling much more like the Jan we all love. Now you can get out and about a bit you should really start to pick up. Fresh air (sea air too!) works wonders.
Lots of lovely work on your desk and bed and that wall hanging by Jill!!! That is so beautiful, what a work of art. I like the fact that the two swans are not mirror images and they sit in the water not on it. Very clever work.

Hi Jan, I’m so glad you’re feeling better. Lots of sewing in progress on your bed and desk today, and I do like your keyring. I hope they sell well. Your SiL’s quilt hanging is beautiful, it’s true she’s set the swans in perfectly.
Take care and happy WOYWW

Dear Jan!
Glad to read that you feel better!
Ok, the bed is not there for power napping, it's there for power fabric. Smile! I love the key fobs. Definitely!
And the quilt is georgeous. Hats off..........

So great to hear that you are feeling better every week! It took me over a year to recover from an asthma episode, and I am only just now able to climb stairs again! I think the key fobs are wonderful! Hope you sell lots, I don't see why not! The quilt is indeed beautiful, I love swans! Clever SIL! Sorry I'm so late, have a lovely week, Lindart #14
