WET WASHING HANGING ON THE LINE

DRIES SO VERY QUICKLY WHEN THE WEATHER'S FINE!

The lyrics today are from a children's clapping song and was retrieved from the dim and dusty recesses of my musical brain for today's blog! Which is going to be very short and sweet...

Laura from the cafe messaged me to say all the peg bags had been sold, yay! I didn't have any in stock so found some fabric and had a cutting out session:

I thought I'd make five.

There should be something for most tastes with this lot! The quilt squares got rather shoved to one side though...

I'm doing 30 squares this time to make a slightly larger quilt, only about 4 more to do.

This is the sum total of my papers now! I've just got  everything out in order to make something involved with the ATCs - I guess all will be revealed fairly soon! Thanks to those lovely gals who have said they'd like to swap xx

That's it! Got a busy morning ahead so my commenting may be a little late xx

Have a great week and enjoy your crafting xxxxxxxx

Gorgeous peg bags - do people put them out then take them in each day? Mine just sits outside all the time, so I end up throwing last year's pegs and holder away. Wasteful, and I should mend my ways. Perhaps a lovely bag would help. Also, like pulling teeth, getting a commitment on charity items...will follow up! Looking forward to seeing the ATCS. Best few weeks of the year, when we all get to finally share...
Happy WOYWW (back to being on time!)

Just read your comment . . re teabags. I squeezed out the teabag after use and left to dry. When it was dry, I emptied the contents into a container and the dregs go on the garden. The left over tissue was rinsed and dried flat.

I have a lovely peg bag that a friend made me 17 years ago for a special birthday. I shall keep it forever as she is now in a care home and has dementia.
Glad you enjoyed my catch up session Jan

I loved the smell of freshly dried clothes when I had a clothes line. But I haven't had one in 23 years now. No place to put a line, and no sun! But the bags are beautiful, and if I had to choose one, of course, it would be the one with the cats! Have fun making your ATC's! Have a great week, Lindart #23

I’m not familiar with that skipping rope type song, mind you, it’s possible that I’ve forgotten….! How typical that you have stock of some stuff and it’s something that you haven’t that runs out first. Still, as you don’t procrastinate, it clearly hasn’t been a problem! Your paper stash is looking extremely under control, I hope you have pleasure in using up some more for ATCs. When you need a top up, holler!!!!

Hi Jan, love your peg bags and particularly love mine, especially now that the weather has improved enough for me to get my washing out. Your paper stash makes mine look massive, which is currently a shame since I'm not using it. Have a lovely week. Hugs, Elizabeth x #248

Hope I am ok and not too late for an ATC swap. I have not been signing up because I was totally stumped but now Julia has said what the theme is (sort of) I can get done,
Fab peg bags as always, yes, you certainly have covered a heck of a lot of tastes with these. I would think the Welsh Dragon ones are big sellers - a souvenir of where folks went on holiday.
Now to my shading - I meant the purple around the edges - it isn't even at all and I cannot seem to get it to be faint but even. I guess if comes with practice and that is what I need to do.
No - the bokeh effect wasn't what we did at the workshop, we did Gelli Plates (using them) like what I have been doing since.
I think it was a lady called Robin who invented the Bokeh technique, it's been around for ages but Jo likes to do different things for her followers and that is a good one to visit. No doubt I will be doing some of those shortly as I like to follow Jo but have so much to catch up on.
Hope you have a lovely week planned ahead.
Hugs, Neet 5 xx

Oh my, my email comment notifications didn't work at all yesterday so I thought I had no comments, came to have a look today and have loads!

Spent most of yesterday trying to sort my glasses out. Had to go back to Boots as my prescription was wrong, the optometrist sorted it out and apologised however the staff on the desk were horrid so I've emailed customer support, glad I took my husband with me this time to see what they were like.

Loving your peg bags

Good morning, Jan!
What a nice call to receive. At least you had supplies on hand and thanks to your recent tidy, could access them quick as a wink. Pretty combinations. You do have an eye for that.
Not so many line days yet. I did get to dry my sheets on the line last week. We'll get there.
Creative Blessings & Hugs! ~Kelly #21
