BREAK OUT THE FOOD AND THE DRINKS,

IT'S GONNA BE A PARTY...

I have  had such a great time this past week catching up with friends and family that I'd not seen for a couple of years - in fact it was such a great time that I didn't take any pics, just forgot and concentrated on enjoying the moment! I know my niece Clare reads my blog - it was amazing to see your beautiful little family and have a cwtch with my newest great nephew, you and Darren are fantastic parents! We also called in on Julia and she did let me get a word in occasionally *grin*, again no pics but a great time was had by all.

This is a desk from a couple of weeks back:

I was making some bunting for Clare's little boy and didn't want her to see it before we met up!

I enjoyed putting this together and used up the very last of the seaside fabric.

There may have been another fabric delivery this week, just a couple of metres of a fun doggy print...

Everything just got dumped on the desk.

I also cut into the sheep print to make some bags, there's black and white cotton twill tapes for some more mastectomy drain bags and the gauze bag contains yarn that Julia passed onto me.

Fun huh? I know the dog stuff will go but wasn't sure about the sheep so only got 1.5m, it's all an experiment!

Lynne (Lynnecrafts) and her hubby will be arriving later to stay for a couple of days, we've been friends for 39 years but haven't seen each other for a long time so it's going to be fab catching up! I'll see if I can remember to take a photo this time, lol!!

Have a great week xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Those fabrics are lush. I was very tempted when i went to Doncaster to the craft show. There's a guy there who sells the most gorgeous fabrics but I have to admit I bought some from him in 2019 and still haven't used it but love just touching it, one day it will come to me Lol! Enjoy you friends get together, sounds great. Thanks for your kind comment over at mine too. Stay cool and have a lovely woyww. Hugs, Angela x11x

Good morning Jan, the sheep fabric is cute and the bunting looks lovely. Have you ever used a fabric that didn’t sell? Thank you for your lovely comments. Enjoy your catch up with Lynne, we are expecting visitors on Thursday, but they are bringing their own accommodation:). Happy WOYWW. Angela #13

Gorgeous fabrics Jan - it makes sewing it up more fun when it's so cheery, I think. Have a fab few days with Lynne - so lovely to get together with best buddies after so long. I'm not posting this week - we had a few days in Scotland and I came back with Covid!! xx Jo

Oh my life I am sooooooo late sitting down at my PC to comment this week - so sorry no idea where the week went but I did get a craft delivery from Kraft Crazy on Thursday so that might account for some of it.

Super that you got to meet up with Julia and family this week and Lynne next. I have a friend popping round now so the WOYWW comments will have to wait AGAIN... Love the bunting nice to have enough seaside fabric for it. Great fabric delivery too.

I love the bunting. Every time I see you making one I say "I should make one for Jasper!" and then I don't. I guess I really don't know how, but if I'm going to I should do it fairly soon. Any links that would be good for me? I love the doggie fabric, so cute! You seem to be having a lovely summer so far! Enjoy the rest of your week, Lindart #20

Been AGES since I've been to any sort of party. And with a WOYWW mate too! How lovely for you all. I prefer the dogs to the sheep in this case, but whatever, you will turn both into fabulous fundraising I'm sure. Hope the Jan Cave stays cool!
Happy WOYWW - late AGAIN!
