CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES, COME ON....!
Hello lovely deskers! I thoroughly enjoyed the anniversary last week, it had the ultimate feelgood factor which has been extended by all the happy mail arriving. The sight of all those beautifully decorated envelopes, cards and ATCs has made my mornings so wonderful xxx
This is a pic heavy post, it's been a busy week!
This is the view from my sewing machine - the wall opposite was blank so I got a cork board, painted it and put it up. The perfect spot to put the ATCs and other things that make me happy xx
All the beautiful ATCs that have arrived so far and the wooden plaque that Neet sent me plus a couple of old favourites too!
The normal view of the desk - I've cut into last week's new fabric arrivals already (got another craft fair this weekend)...
I love this bunting fabric and the orange goes well with the teal.
These make me smile! I've yet to put poppers on the purses - I've also made the fold up totes in these fabrics too. Isn't that poppy fabric stunning?
But really, it's all about bunting today! I did make a load for the Jubilee a couple of months ago and this was the week for putting it all up:
Laura put hers up in the Harbour Lights Cafe where I have a basket of stuff for the RNLI...
I put up a few strings in the RNLI shop where I volunteer - my good friend Sue made the ribbon rosettes which are the perfect finishing touch!
But most of it went up around the Memorial Gardens in my town where I joined in with the yarnbombing yesterday...
The Ladies from the Balls of Fun group had organised it...
It brightened up the railings....
I hope it makes people smile as they pass by. There's an official ceremony tomorrow so it was in good time for that. I'm happy with how it turned out and how much fun those pom pom rosettes are (thanks to Gordon who helped me make quite a lot!!)
Hope you have a marvellous week, keep smiling and enjoy your crafting xxxx

The fabrics are fab, as are your makies. The bunting look really great.
Happy WOYWW

Starting to worry, as not many of my ATCs seem to have landed! Helen got hers but not many more so far. Eek. LOVE the bunting, so festive and it sure made me smile, even if only seen on screen! And I have still yet to use my poppers. Must have a tutorial from the pro at the crop - ooooh the tingle at get at the thought of a WOYWW crop again. Woohoo
Happy start of year 14!!

I hope you’re really REALLy pleased, the bunting and Ballsy rosettes just look fabulous, so lovely to think that the whole community will enjoy your work, my word, there’s miles of it. I remember you saying how much, but it doesn’t really compute till you see it along the railings. Wonderful stuff. I was in town yesterday and there aren’t many places showing bunting or decorating much, I was disappointed and hope that perhaps I’m just a day or two early. Had to settle for a couple of UJ flags on sticks because I couldn’t find bunting for sale! Will try again. Nothing will stop me, I do like to decorate! Another busy week then, they fly by a bit don’t they. Looks as if you’ve had some fab weather too, better than this week here anyway! Xx
I love that ATC board Jan - a great idea. Your makes are a delight - love, love the poppies. Your town must look magnificent with all that bunting. I hope it is a wonderful occasion for all. We loved your ATC - it captured everything good about our 13 year friendship. xx Jo
What a fab, happy post full of colour Jan. You're such a busy bee but if you have time you can pop round and help me replace the zips in the bag full of 30 pair of trousers that's arriving later!!...Isn't there a saying about asking a busy person to do a job?
Have a fab week.
Hugs,

Hi Jan, your bunting looks fabulous and will be admired by everyone who passes by. Love your board too, I have one of those with little pegs 0n wires in the little hallway outside by crafting room. Most of it has been gathering dust for a while, but I would rather have another board than take anything down - that is my biggest problem! A friend of mine only has half her ornaments out at one time, my craft room shelves just get added to π€£. Happy WOYWW. Angela #16
I especially love the pom pom rosettes, they set the bunting off perfectly.Gosh, what a lot of bunting you made, there are touches of Jan all over town now.
The latest batch of 'makes' is beautiful as always, and yes that orange spotted fabric works so well for the linings.
Love your display wall.
Hugs, Neet 4 xx
Happy WOYWW. Wonderful to see your bunting and pom poms on display around the town. Hubby has mentioned that we can escape the farm on Saturday, and cycling @ Pembrey was suggested. Perhaps we can get over to Burry Port and I can admire your creations in real life. That would be very exciting for me! I have nice stuff displayed in my craft room on the pegboard doors of the upper Ikea Kallax cubes. It does brighten up the room. Ali x #22
I love your cork board of ATC's - what a happy, smiley view across your room. The bunting is fabulous and I think the pompoms really add to the effect - all that hard work was really worth it. And Wow! that poppy fabric - looks stunning against the red and white spots - they are all gorgeous but I do have a love of poppies.
Have a lovely week,
Hugs, Diana xx #17

Thanks so much for your visit, Jan! And for thinking of me on the anniversary - I honestly couldn't believe it was that time of year again! I love your pin board - I have a magnetic one but not much on it yet as I keep putting off making magnets. Your jubilee bunting looks so festive and happy and it must be very uplifting to see your handiwork in all those places! Have a happy week! xx zsuzsa #19
