YES YOU COULD SAY WE'VE ALWAYS BEEN

RED WHITE AND BLUE.

Hi there, hope you've had a good week! It has been the most glorious weather, the patio doors have been open, G has refreshed the garden furniture and I've even had to water my pots in the garden. However, I think all that is changing over the next 48 hours, we may even have snow! Spring in the UK eh? Always a good topic of conversation, lol.

I have done a fair bit of crafting as well:

Getting ahead of schedule with the Jubilee Bunting, some for the cafe, some to sell, some for the town decorating. I'm quite pleased with the results, you get the idea of red, white and blue even with the different patterns. You can see a tower of bias binding in the back plus new fabric that I spotted on ebay.

Lynne and I had agreed that it was very difficult to get a decent cat print fabric as opposed to the multitude of doggy stuff, but I thought this was fun. Worth a shot for the cafe stocks.

I crochet in the evenings and have two things on the go, the blanket squares:

I have to do 8 squares of the eleven colours, there's enough changing there to keep things interesting.

And I will be making pom poms for the town Jubilee yarnbombing:

Think my pom poms are a bit bushy and need a trim (Twiglet, I can hear you sniggering!!)

But there have been times to get out and just sit in the sunshine as well:

Bliss.......

Take care, lovely deskers, hope you have a good week xxxxx

Loving the bunting Jan and I am sure once the bushy pompoms have been trimmed (*snigger*) they will be great too. Hope we don't get snow now Spring has arrived! Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #1

I am so jealous of you having beach to get to and enjoy- whilst I love Kew it would be fabulous to walk on a beach sometimes! The bunting looks great. Good luck with your pom pom trimming! Happy WOYWW Helen #3

That bunting looks so fresh and crisp - perfect for the Jubilee. I always think you should tidy up the loose ends on your pompoms! The colour combo of your crochet yarns is fab and will make a gorgeous cosy blanket. You might well need one to wrap round you while you work over the next few chilly days - we too had doors open and enjoyed a bright sunny day in the garden yesterday. xx jo

The beach looks gorgeous and the bunting looks fab. It is trying to snow here now (not settling yet) so definitely no doors open! Happy WOYWW. Take care, with love & God Bless, Caro xxx (#12)

Certainly a drop in the temperature and Tuesday brought a change with no sunshine but waking up today we have rain, good for the garden though. Mustn't grumble.
Love that bunting, I think you are the bunting queen without a doubt. Your pom poms look like mine but I daren't trim mine or I get to "no pom pom" in moments.
Hugs, Neet 6 xx

Hi Jan. Loving the bunting - well done. How many miles of it have you done so far??? Cat fabric - well found! My neighbour would adore it. She is what you might call cat mad!! Glorious colours for the crochet blanket. Are you following a pattern, or making it up as you go? Me? I like a bushy pom pom... Glorious relaxing view of the bay.
Take care. God bless.

Hi Jan, I love your quirky cats and the shaggy Pom poms. Your bunting is very smart, too. If Ashford only want pairs, could Helen use the odd ones perhaps?
Hope the good weather comes back soon so you can enjoy your stunning coastline again.
Take care and happy WOYWW

Hi Jan, the bunting's gorgeous. The weather's been pretty much the same here. It's raining a little today and cooler but the sun is out too but that's spring for you. That was very kind of you to rename the Masterboards to Mistressboards. Originally the lady who started them called it a Motherboard but it was changed as of course that is an electronic component. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww. Hugs, Angela x13x

I have been cold all day today! The weather is always a good topic of conversation! The bunting looks great . Can Pom Poms be too bushy? Are those blue things to make Pom poms? Hope the sunshine returns soon meanwhile have a great week. Angela #4

I only ever do quite small poms that I make wrapped around my fingers! Big fluffy bushy ones would be find for a change. I think your colours for the blanket are lovely and all one colour knitting or crochet is dead boring. The cat print is quite cute, very retro, but I'm not in love with the colours. Much more my style https://tinyurl.com/ms6uwt4j LOL!Well done on the bunting as well. Always such a busy desk...
Happy WOYWW!

Sunshine and snow... it came to Holland too! Just when I though Spring was here for sure, temperatures dropped. Oh well, time to get back in the house and create. I love that cat-fabric and you are so right: dogs are more popular on fabric ánd on patterned paper but how hard it is to find a nice cat-print, I love your find! Thanks for stopping by the other day, hug from Holland. Marit #15

We had sun until yesterday. Now we have rain. Garden and nature were waiting for rain.
Your bunting ist so colorful. I love it.
The cat print fabric will sell well! (Words of a cat lover...)
Nice color of the squares. And you have a pom pom "machine". Great!
Lovely photo from the beach.
Best wishes from Austria.

Hi Jan, The weather sure has been wonderful, but then the big drop and snow was rather a shock to the system.

The bunting looks fab.

It wasn't just Twiglet sniggering:) LOL

Greyhound owners moan that you cannot get Greyhounds on fabric.

Love the blanket colours.

Happy WOYWW
