SHE'S THE WITCH QUEEN, YEAH, OF NEW ORLEANS.
666, a mighty number, albeit one that conjures up all sorts of scary things. It may interest you to know that all three different mobile phone numbers I've had have contained 666. Be afraid, be very afraid...mwahahahahahahaha!!
But keeping going for 666 weeks is a mighty achievement, well done Julia! You keep us in line even though it may well be like herding cats sometimes :-D Onwards to 777!
I've had quite a busy crafting week, refilling the stock basket at the cafe means making more stuff and so I've had a bit of a splurge:
The flags are for Jubilee bunting, the other three are for glasses cases etc. Dogs always sell well and I thought the steampunky clocks might be ok too, it's good to have a variety for people to choose from. I also needed some more lining fabrics:
Just for a bit of fun, the yellow is very reminiscent of Birds Custard powder!
I have been making more for the Balls of Fun Ukraine fundraising and had to get some more tape/ribbons (eBay has done well out of me!)
Some colours are better for the Ukraine flag than others, the tapes are probably a bit bright tbh but it gets the message across. The yarns came vacuum packed, they were hard like a board but as soon as the pack was opened, they expanded....pooof!
You can see them in the back of this pic! I made a few lapel ribbons for the fundraising as well - the worst part of this was sewing the brooch backs on....
And some single and double sunflowers as well. Thanks to Lynne and Sue Dyer for buying some lapel ribbons, your donations will be going into the town Mayor's official Ukraine fund.
Have a good week everyone xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Jan,
I remember years ago seeing something on tv that said 666 was not actually you know who, but 999 was. No, not the police, but the number.
Loving the fabrics.
Thanks for the Ukraine ribbon. Every little helps.
Happy WOYWW

Yeah, just been thru the colour issues with my tiny hearts, and the WI Blue is pretty perfect. I said, and still wish, that yarn should come with a Hex colour designation... Love the sunflowers, very cute!
Hangin' in there for WOYWW

I love the fabrics - especially the clock faces, I like a bit of steampunk. You are doing a great job with the Ukraine fund raising - the sunflowers are beautiful.
Have a good week and here's hoping the news is a lot better by next week.

What a fab job you are doing raising money for the Ukraine. I just bought some craft stuff from a shop over there (but didn't buy if you get my drift) as started by my friend Antonis. Also had to help the pets with a donation. I'd be beside myself if I had to leave a pet behind so I'd definitely be trying to take it with me.
Love the fabrics you bought, especially the clocks. They match up to my latest stamps - Time!
Hugs, Neet 7 xx

I’ve made it to the blogs this week ....sometimes life just gets in the way and sadly it was the blogs that had to be neglected last week....sorry.
You’ve had a busy week this week gal...you’d definitely not had time for a body builder in your house πππ...his sewing is all done and hopefully he will be back to collect it this week.
Hugs,

Hello lovely lady, well done on the ukraine fund raising. Wow they really were vacuum packed!! Never seen anything like it, quite clever for postage and storage I guess. Your fabics are lovely, I'm sure the dogs will fly out. Have a good week, Happy WOYWW, Cindy #20

Perhaps that's why we have a devilishly naughty sense of humour Jan! Gorgeous fabrics as usual - you have a real knack for putting colours/patterns together. Your fund raisers for Ukraine are fab - it's madness out there and anything we can do to help is so badly needed. I popped to Annie for a quick catch up today - don't know where she had hidden him but I told her to let me know next time she has a tricky grooms outfit to alter - I could lend a hand!! xx Jo
Beautiful work for the fund raising and loving the fabrics especially the clock one. Wishing you a very happy woyww. Sending hugs, Angela x15x
Love all your fabrics. So pretty. Nice that you are creating and donating for benefit of Ukraine. Happy WOYWW.
